I am 6 days postpartum now and feeling horrible! I had my baby 8/1 in the morning, was released on 8/2 in the afternoon and rode 2 hours home. That night I had to run to the store for something and while walking from the car into the store thought I was going to pass out, got really weird and dizy feeling and my chest felt funny. I went home, rested and it got better after a few hours. The next night it happened again but this time I hadn't gone anywhere, just went up the stairs 1 time at home. This has now been going on every night since and tonight it feels pretty scary. I am 2 hours from the hospital/OB or else I would go in and be checked out for something strange.

I had a normal vaginal birth, my bleeding is normal, no huge clots or fever, no pain anywhere. I have a tightness in my chest (kinda like anxiety), feel weird, kinda lightheaded feeling and like I will pass out. My BP is currently 129/85 and pulse is 60 (its usually around 90-100).

Anyone else postpartum with this or know what could be going on?? I am hearing low pulse may be normal?

So I've been having braxton hicks contractions and weird feelings for weeks now but today I am 36 weeks and have a dr appt 2 hours away at my OB. I didn't get to sleep until 2am because my legs, ankles and feet are very swollen and hurt. I woke up at 3am feeling like I had to pee really bad so I went and barely went much, woke up again at 4am because I felt like I had to go really bad again but same thing happened. Just woke up at 5:10am feeling like I had stomach cramps like I had to use the bathroom so I did and had diarrhea but it didnt relieve the mild stomach cramping. I wiped and I had a toilet paper full of yucky white mucusy stuff. My inner thighs are hurting really bad. I feel very sick to my stomach and sitting here wondering if I am possibly going into real labor. I feel OFF. So glad I have a dr appt today because my hospital/OB is 2 hours away. Anyone have any experience with this?? With my first I was induced and they immediately gave my epidural so I dont know much about the pains

I have heard that you can but wanted to ask. I am out of checks, which is why I am asking. I received deposit slips pre printed with my account/routing number and name/address etc with my checks and wanted to know if I added the information to it as well as the amount and write out the amount can I use it in place of a check. I know the bank accepts checks without your personal information if you write it on and I've often heard with certain programs like Quicken you can actually print your own checks. Can you use a deposit slip or check reorder form as long as all the necessary info is on there and your account/routing numbers are already printed? Thanks

I am currently 11 weeks today and went to the ER last night with bright red bleeding. I had an ultrasound and was diagnosed with a small Subchorionic Hematoma and was told me just "take it easy" and not much more. I cant really find stats on the outcomes of this type of thing. I am curious if the odds are pretty high of having a full term pregnancy?

I have been entering a ton of sweepstakes and vaguely remember this one, I got a letter from Promotions Etc in NJ saying I won a large all inclusive trip from Castrol Oil. I have been looking online for this sweepstakes and found one that is almost identical that ended a few months back but cannot find this exact one. They did not ask for money or anything, I was given an affidavit to have notarized just with my name, date of birth, telephone number, address and signature to send back to this person who comes up as the owner of this company. Anyone won any trips before? Like I said it was overnight Fed Ex'd to me and I vaguely remember entering.

I am currently 7w 4d and starting about a week ago I began getting really sick feeling which I remember with my son 11 years ago except this time I am only feeling like throwing up when I see or smell food/drinks or if I eat or drink ANYTHING, this includes water, ginger ale, 7up and crackers. It seemed like it started tapering off yesterday which worried me but its back full force today.

I started getting morning sickness at 6 weeks and its gradually getting worse, today I turned 7 weeks and its becoming unbearable, lasting all day and night. I haven't had a prenatal appt yet and wont for another 3 or so weeks so I cant really ask a doctor since the OB is 2 hours away and I've never seen her before. I have tried ginger ale, water, small meals (I can barely eat, living off crackers), eating crackers with peanut butter before bed, eating some crackers as soon as I wake up and I cannot get this to calm down at all. I thought I had bad morning sickness with my son 11 years ago but it didn't even compare to this! Anyone have any other options?

Also I have been having diarrhea, which is something I didn't experience with my son either. Anyone else have this?

I posted something the other night but didn't really get any answers. My 4 month old male kitten (isnt fixed yet) has been lethargic since Friday night, he wants to sleep constantly although he IS still eating, drinking and using the litter box. He doesn't seem to be in any pain at all and purs when I pick him up. I took his temp and it was around 104 (high) but like I said he IS eating and drinking and I have been supplementing him with a calorie supplement and just to make sure giving him water in an eyedropper at 2ml every 30 min, he also willingly drinks milk if I let him.

He is my baby, I am going to take him to the vet Monday but we don't have an emergency vet anywhere within 2 hours of here and I tried calling one 2 hours away for advice and they refused to give any advice over the phone. He does NOT go outside and isn't around any adult cats, just another healthy kitten who is 12 weeks old and has only been around her for about 2 weeks. He has been vaccinated. Please let me know if you have experienced this, as I said he will be going to the vet but I am very worried.

My 4 month old baby "Orion" started getting sick last night, he does have a fever of around 104 and he is wanting to lay around and sleep a lot, he is still eating and drinking a little, I gave him a little milk to get more liquid in him and we're giving him 1/2 ml amoxil (that we had from another sick cat in the fridge) We will be taking him to the vet Monday if hes not better but unfortunately I live in a small town where there are no emergency vets anywhere near. He has never been outside, he only is around 1 other kitten who is only 12 weeks old and has no symptoms. He had his vaccines. No sneezing or anything. Any idea what could be going on?

I was driving home tonight with stereo, heater and lights all on and suddenly after about 7 min of driving the dash lights seemed dim to me so I tried to turn the knob to see if it somehow got turned down to turn my dash lights up. When I did that my stereo stopped working and the dash went extremely dim as well as my headlights. I tried to turn the brights on because I couldnt even see my headlights on the road because they were so dim and the car started acting like it was going to die and then would suddenly drive normal then try to die again. I got it into the driveway and turned it off. After about 20 min went back outside and started it up again and now its like nothing ever happened, all dash lights and headlights are bright and stereo is on and didnt reset the channels or anything. What is going on?

Saturday morning I woke up with a 102 fever and the most intense body aches I've ever felt in my life. I dealt with it through the day, took a shower in the afternoon and everything appeared normal. At about 9:30pm when changing I noticed my right breast had large patches of red and red streaks going from the patch upward towards my armpit. My right armpit lymph node was also extremely sore and I couldnt even put my arm down.

Sunday afternoon I ended up going to the Er where I was looked at by a female nurse, a doctor and a medical student. They did an exam, and told me they were confident it was a mastitis or cellulitis of the breast and gave me antibiotics (cephalexin) by IV and then gave me a 10 day supply for home. They did note that there were larger red patches, no lumps, nipple normal, red streaks, lymph node in armpit was slightly swollen and very tender, temp was elevated, and "rash" was warm and inflammed.

Now today (Monday) after IV antibiotics (1 dose) and a few more doses (every 6 hours) my temp seems to be fading away and the lymph node under my arm is a lot better, not much pain in it but the pain and rash on my breast remains. I know 24 hours isnt much time but I am very nervous about this.

Any help is appreciated, I am scared out of my mind. Thank you.

About 12 hours ago I woke up with severe body aches and a 101.1 fever, also with a headache and pain behind my eyes and bad pain in my right armpit (which seems to be getting better not sure if its because of advil). Now about 3 hours ago I noticed my right breast is warmer and there is what appears to be a large hive covering the bottom half of my right breast with a few red streaks towards the top of the breast, it doesn't itch, there are no lumps, and it was sudden. There is a possibility I am very newly pregnant (cant test for another week). Anyone have any ideas?? I am kind of freaked out.

I seriously have never felt pain this bad before. It starts under my armpit and goes into the side of my breast. I have had cystic breasts in the past but never this much pain and I dont feel any lumps or cysts in the area. It is possible I could have become pregnant about 3 or so weeks ago but haven't tested yet. Anyone have any ideas of what this could be? This pain is BAD, cant even put my arm down bad. Its also on the left SIDE of my left breast but doesn't even compare, that one just is sore to touch.

Ok so I have joint pain and anxiety that is the extent. I dont have fatigue or fevers or rashes or anything else like that. Dr decided about 4 months ago to do a complete blood panel on me as well as ANA testing. The ANA test came back postiive speckled 1:80 titer, sed rate of 25, RF negative, CK normal, Creat normal. So I went back and had them done again because of the ANA being positive. This time its ANA positive mixed pattern 1:40 titer, sed rate 25, RF negative, CK and Creat both normal, Anti-ssDNA 275 (high) and Anti-dsDNA negative or normal. They are referring me to a Rheumy but I am curious if anyone has had this mixture before. She told me if I had not had a previous positive ANA they would have considered the 1:40 titer as negative.

I ended my period about 9 days ago and for the past 8 days I've been cramping non-stop in my lower pelvic region (feels like a band of cramping from hip to hip where a bikini would sit. It constantly feels tight as if something is there but then at times comes in waves of worse pain lasting for about 20 seconds each. I had an incident in January where a condom failed but every month after that I had very irregular (never been irregular in my life until then) periods every 30-36 days (normally 28 on the dot) lasting for about 30-48 hours at most (normally 5 days). I have NO idea what is going on and plan on making a doctor appointment tomorrow. No burning with urination, no fever or throwing up. Any ideas what could be going on?

I am on day 3 now of a constant cramping feeling in my lower abdomen just above my pubic bone. It doesn't usually hurt bad but is a dull constant crampy feeling and feels almost like gas or like I am about to have a menstrual period but its not due for another 2 1/2 weeks. I have been having off periods lately (lasting about 30-48 hrs each) when they usually last 5 days but hadn't been having really any other problems. I haven't been sexually active since January but thats when the period issues started too. It almost feels like cramping and pulled muscles all in one. I am worried as to what it could be, of course will go to the dr if it gets much worse but wanted to get feedback for now?

About a week ago I was about 4 blocks from my house when the overdrive light started blinking and about 30 seconds after it started blinking (after running just fine all over that day) everytime it would try to shift (auto) it would rev up then jump and shift. I immediately parked it back at home and didn't drive it again. A few days ago I had it towed about 30 miles to Aamco (only tranny place within 60 miles) and had them pull codes. They told me the codes were PO732 and PO734 were coming back meaning the car had incorrect gear ratios for 2nd and 4th gear. Aamco's manager told me they would have to pull the transmission from my car and it would cost me 675.00 just to look at the transmission and see what is wrong. They said if its something minor it would end up being between 1200 - 1400 and if it was major and I needed a rebuilt tranny it would be 2400 - 2800, I obviously told them no and the car is being towed back home tomorrow.

Anyone have any ideas of what could be going on? Does it sound like an inner transmission problem? I didn't think things like that just happened suddenly and when I say suddenly I mean the car has NEVER had as much as a slip in the tranny and one minute it was driving great, the next it was like this. Any help is much appreciated!
