In a gay marriage how is the last name of the new couple resolved?
In traditional marriage etiquette the woman takes the man's last name - I know it's not always or that it has to be this way. So how does this work when both are the same sex? What rule of etiquette covers this, if any?
How did any of those recently married in California handle this?

A co-worker showed up with this one on a t-shirt. ;-)

A bud & I were looking up the name Jill Coccaro goes by. She's the one who won $29,000 going topless in NY. They state she's an artist & with the name she chose we figured she was a stripper. Looking up the name "Phoenix Feeley" on the internet resulted in a lot of nudie pictures. One site even said "No immature jokes" about the name.
We just don't get it. Is there something about the name that us rednecks in Colorado just don't know??
Also, she was stopped topless at 1 AM in NY. Doesn't that mean she was a hooker, or at least most likely?
Inquiring minds here want to know! LOL
1 AnswerCurrent Events1 decade agoWhen does science cross the line & become religion?
I've always been brought up believing that a fundamental difference between science & religion was that you can question science but not religion. And to me, that was what made science fun!
Nowadays, that line has been blurred dramatically. Recent Supreme Court rulings on evolution (banning stupid book labels) & all the global warming radicals shouting down those who disagree with them.
Now I don't blame the actual scientists for this, but rather blame laymen who go into a defensive mode, much like a religious person will when their beliefs are challanged. This does appear to have the same effect as religion as debate & questioning is suppressed. Of course, no scientific theory has ever been successfully challenged so it's probably moot! -LOL
So where do you draw the line between when science crosses the line into religion?
