We are installing a PricePfister shower head (http://www.pricepfister.com/bath/Product/808-LN0Y.... There is plenty of water pressure when the head is not installed, but as soon as we put the head on and turn the water back on, the water drizzles out of the only a few holes. Does anyone have any ideas?

My bathroom floor messed up. There is a section of old warped wooden slats, then an entire side that is made of sheets of plywood (approx. 1/2 cm above the level of the wooden slats).

I need to tile this entire floor, and believe that there is no subfloor to use as my base.

Assuming that I need to tile directly over the wooden slats and plywood, can someone describe the best way to ensure that my tiles are even?

The walls are smooth and have been hiding under wainscoting for maybe 50-100 years. The plaster is solid and in good condition.

The wallpaper, which is very old, has been painted. The plaster is probably at least 50 years old, possibly 100.

Would steaming do the trick?

How are parents, who themselves are not highly educated, possibly educate their children better than teachers? Don't kids suffer disadvantages from failing to be exposed to multiple viewpoints, classroom competition, social interaction, and independence?

I understand that it is difficult to care for children and that you have to give the children a lot. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about overpopulating the planet with too many people just so you can see little people that look like you walk around and make you happy. I am talking about whether having kids burdens the rest of us as per the tragedy of the commons.

They are small specs that I can grind into powder in my fingers. They don't appear to be mixing into my water (like soap or salt or some other saturation). They are coming out of my kitchen sink faucet, though my wife says she's seen them come out of the tub faucet, too.
