My friends has a marimo miss ball and we put a sterling silver ring on top of it to make it look like a king and when we woke up the next morning it was gone..none of us took it out

I got a female chinchilla at the end of June I bought her a little hammock to sleep in but she keeps chewing on the straps that it hangs by. I took it out because I didn't want her to chew though them while she in it and hurt herself. How do I get her to stop? And she's not very social she sits by the door and I know that means she wants out or attention but when I try to pet her from inside the cage she makes a strange sound or if I hold her she tries to run back to her cage, so I stopped try to pet her because I don't want to stress her out. I still open her door and let her sniff me and give her treats and from time to time she lets me pet her head but that's it. I don't know what to do I don't want her to be anti social but I don't want her to be stressed or bite me. Any advice??

I'm getting a female golden retriever puppy and I'm not sure what I want to name her. I was kinda thinking Ruby or Rosie but I'm not sure and would like to hear more name suggestion..Any ideas??
