  • Hand cramps?

I have been getting sharp pains in my hands and arms. Heat is the only thing that helps. I have recently under gone two spinal epidural injections, and was supposed to have another one two days ago. I recently had a cortizone injection in the left knee. The doctor declined as I have been having tremors in my hands. I am currently taking diaretics and potassium. I am trying to stay away from the narcotics that the "pain specialists" are trying to give me. I would rather be in pain now than have a monkey on my back. I have been drinking planty of water, and taking my vitamins. (Cerefolin with NAC)

Any clues as to what could be causing this? I will be seeing my regular physician on Monday.

I have had these years ago, but not recently

  • Is the media threatened by Homeschooling?

One of the local Missouri Homeschool girls went to the national spelling bee. I went looking to see what kind of press coverage the national spelling bee got, and I didn't find any!

This led me to wonder what the nationwide results were, and I found the web site only lists the name of the winners' schools, not the type. From some of the names, you can guess it is probably a home school, but HSLDA confirmed directly with Nat'l Geo that of the 55 winners, 10 were home schooled. Pretty impressive results to share with those who are skeptics of home schooling.

We are estimated at 2% of the school age population, but we have trained 18% of the national qualifiers. That seems to be worth a headline or two.

    See the list at:

    http://press.nationalgeographic.com/pressroom/inde...

What do you think. Does the national media feel threatened by the home taught person? Why?

  • Don Imus Charity. Does anyone think it is on the level, or a tax deductible vacation spot.?

    http://charitygovernance.blogs.com/charity_governa...

In my search, I am of the opinion that it is a way for him to have his ranch, and get others to pay for it. Please prove me wrong with documentation. His costs are 10X what others do the same thing for.

  • Maytag MSD2756DE?

This is embarasing; I used to fix things for a living, and now am disabled. My Maytag MSD2756DE is dead. the compressor is hot, the light is on, and it clicks from the compressor area every so often. My question is. Is it worthwhile to get the compressor fixed, or just buy a new unit? $700 is a lot of money. Any ball park ideas what it would cost for a new compressor instaled in Missouri?
