  • As your dog thrown up after being given worming tablets?

I wormed my GSD this morning, with Bob Martin worming tablets, tonight when i came in from work she was not her usual bouncy pleased to see me self, instead she was lethargic and down in the dumps. Since then she as thrown up everywhere, mainly a watery bile, and she as just had a semi loose pooh on her walk. Anyone else had similar problems while worming?

  • One hole in bathroom floor , one nosey cat....result????

Daughter came downstairs last night, upset cos the cat was missing, i thought he is just hiding, he will come out when he is hungry, BUT dont know what made me look but there is a wee hole in my bathroom floor where its got wet and rotted ( one of hubbys to do diy's) anyways Tolouze as always been fascinated with this hole so i covered it with cardboard and a bathroom mat ...the bathroom mat went in the washer yesterday so just the cardboard was there. This hole is right in front of the bath by the way. Anyways i peeped down the hole with a torch and shouted him..i heard this sad little meow, and then another, and then a paw appeared from "behind" the front of the bath...........somehow he had got himself jammed between the bath and its front panel, and couldnt get out..hubby had to pull the panel forward, put his hand up the panel and grab the cat..and risk being bitten clawed etc out of fear...anyways Paul grabbed him , i shouted his name and somehow he scrambled back out

  • cat as established pecking order , would you agree?

Sasha ( my GSD dog) charged in to the kids room this morning and got a bit to close to Tolouze, down the stairs she came with a claw embedded in her nose, the most amazing thing is she did not retaliate..they ate thier breakfast together , under supervision in the same room today...she didnt bother him just ate her food...and went in the living room....i think the grey moggie is boss

  • want an update on my cat ( Tolouze) and my dog ( Sasha) getting on?

Remember the cat and dog issue? well last night we took Sasha out, came back she was flaked out ( on my sofa actually) and we were watching tv, reading etc, anyway Paul said Tracey the cat is in his litter tray...( he came downstairs alone with the dog in the house for the 1st time) then he sat under the table and peeked at us all....he went back upsatirs but sat on the landing, i got his food out and he came down for that.....that was the end of that adventure.

We all went to bed last night and Tolouze was asleep on top of my wardrobe, Sasha asleep at my side of the bed...

At 3am i woke up to find Tolouze on top of me and the dog trying to get on the bed and crying to do so ( not barking) and he is sat there hissing at her as if to say " this is my mum and i am sitting on her" . I thought if they kick off i am going to get scratched to hell, so i woke Paul up and informed him i had both of them on the bed and he had to get Sasha out the room..

  • This isnt good for my cat ..i need to vent anyone want to advise?

ok i am trying to integrate a 1 yr old GSD female with an eight month old cat, its like a battle zone when they come face to face...i tried to put them in the same room yesterday and today ,,its just loads of growling and spitting from the cat...the dog is just curious but big and lungeous. Thing is the cat is in my bedroom on top of the wardrobe, his food and litter are also up there so he doesnt have to come downstairs..but i feel really men saying this but the cat cannot live in a bedroom !! will he ever come down?? am i wrong to have his food up there? i was thinking bring his food down and tempt him back down with the family that way, should i stick them in the same room ( supervised of course) and let them "have " to get used to each other??? i am sooooooooo tired cos i have been up since 5am cos they came face to face and there was a cafuffle, and had to go to work..And why should the dog be restricted from my bedroom ?
