Irish Eyes

I need to live on the north side of town, north of Beltway 8 and east of I-45. I really liked the neighborhoods of the Woodlands and Kingwood as they were 20 years ago. What are some of the newer communities that are far enough away from crime but accessible to major freeways? Any help would be most appreciated!

I'm looking to move to this area next year. I had visited and planned to move to Mansfield, but recently someone from Dallas told me that the gangs from Arlington had bled down to that area (I guess that's why there are so many nice houses cheap there).

I've heard that Plano is nice, but I would appreciate any additional suggestions and information.

I've removed the positive & negative cables, but the battery seems locked in place. I can't see any bracket or screws holding it down. Any pointers?

I'm 43, 6'-02" and 195 lbs. I've never snowboarded before and I was curious if a) a smaller snowboard would be easier for a first-timer and b) if a person my size is even able to use such a snowboard.

My son and I are looking for some games for our PS2 that we can play together (either head-to-head or in cooperation toward a common goal). PS1 games are fine too as we can play them on the same console.

It seems like all of the newer games are 1-player or they are not interesting.

Some of our favorite games from the past: Battletoads, Joust, Putter Golf, Sonic, Hot Shots Golf and Micro Maniacs...

We don't like car racing games, fighting games or any of the major league sports games. I know that precludes about 90% of the 2-player games available, but I'm hoping that some of you can make some suggestions.

The controller is a Rain Dial Series RD600-EXT. I know I have 3 zones. I want to manually check each zone so that I can make sure all drip stations are operating correctly; and finally, I would like to change the current program for winter irrigation.

Scott Farrell comes on Sirius Radio Channel 101 before Howard Stern. He is phenomenal at picking football teams against the spread. I know I've been on his website before, but when I search Yahoo or Google, I can't locate it.

...but you found out that he had a criminal past leading up to that crime, would you be like me and figure he deserved the jail time?

To me, if someone is a habitual criminal (burglary, theft, etc...) and he is wrongly accused of a murder, I wouldn't feel the least bit sorry if he was sentenced to die.

I've tuned into the radio and searched the web, but I can't find what was happening about 10:00 AM and may still be going on. The cops had the whole area taped off and I saw SWAT members on several roof-tops with rifles at the ready. There were also helicopters above - anybody know what's happening?
