  • How do I get my 5 pound dog to stop constant barking while she is outside?

I have 3 papillons. The youngest (2 1/2 years) is quite a barker. She is fine inside. If she hears a noise, she might bark, just one bark and she stops. But when she is outside, she barks at everything. and keeps barking. Sometimes I work more than 12 hours a day. I don't want to leave her in the entire day, but when she is outside, she annoys the neighbors with all the barking.

  • Neighbors Foreclosure, need to low-ball.?

I am in Topeka, Kansas. My neighbors house has been foreclosed. It is now for sale, and the asking price is $12,700. The house is worthless. It has a bad roof, bad plumbing, mold from the bad roof, feces of their dog, and mice, and it's full of roaches. The house needs to be torn down. After the house is torn down, the land is not worth even $10,000. I would like to buy the property for my side yard, but unless someone else wants to spend the money to tear down that house and build a different one, which would just be easier to do on an already vacant lot, I don't see what that place would be good for. Do you think they would accept an offer of about half their asking price?

  • Could I use an american express gift card to buy presale concert tickets?

I would LOVE to see Paul McCartney, I am afraid the concert will be sold out.

I have been denied an american express credit card, so I was wondering if I could buy an american express gift card and still use it to buy the tickets during the pre-sale?

  • culturally speaking, don't you hate those scroll over ads?

the ones that are small until you accidentally move your mouse over them, and then they extend, and they are right over where you were trying to move your mouse to.

  • Eternity seems like a long time.?

I have been thinking about Heaven. I have heard that in heaven 1000 years to us is like 1 day to them. But still, I was thinking, after 100 billion years up in heaven, wouldn't it get a little boring - even though I would still be glad I was not in Hell, because that would seem like even longer.

  • Oregon Criminal History?

How to I do a criminal history check on someone in Oregon, when I am 2000 miles away in another state?

My friend is planning on moving herself and her 3 children to Oregon to marry an old boyfriend. She dated him just a few months and has only spent 1 week with him since. She is aware he has been in jail before. I just found out he lied about what he was in there for, but she still believes him.

  • Planning Bachelorette Party in Portland, Oregon?

I am trying to plan a bachelorette Party for my best friend. Her wedding is in July 2009 in Portland, Oregon. She and I both currently live in Topeka, Kansas.

We were thinking of going to the viewpoint, which has male strippers, but was disappointed in the pictures of the strippers that I found online.

So I was wondering what other options a group of bachelorettes might find to do in Portland, Oregon, or even Vancouver, Washington.

    Thanks for your help

  • Lethargy VS Just being an older dog?

My cocker spaniel is almost 13 years old. He was just diagnosed with having Diabetes over the weekend. We are still working on his Glucose and Insulin Levels. How do I know if he is Lethargic, or if it's because he is older, and not yet feeling his best?

  • How best to get into heaven?

A lot of people on here say that all it takes to get into heaven is faith in Jesus Crist. But in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 it states that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God"

And I do know that if I believe in Jesus Christ, I shouldn't want to do any of these things this verse describes, but we are weak in the flesh.

So what do you think? Does it ONLY take faith in Jesus Christ, or does it require more than that?

    1 Corinthians 6:9-10

9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

  • Why do you think my friend goes to church?

She has never read the bible, isn't learning very much about what is in the bible, I have asked her if she goes to church just to socialize, and she says no, and when I ask her why she goes to church, she looks at me like I am crazy. She hasn't always gone to church, just now that she is in her late 30s she is starting to go - so it's not from her parents influence. But I just don't get it. When I go to church, it's to learn more about the bible. Why would anyone go to church if not to learn about the bible, or at least to be social?

  • How do I know my dog is out of heat?

I have a little female Papillon. She had puppies 4 months ago, when she was done nursing, she went back into heat. I am keeping her separated from the male. I am sure it's been 3 weeks, and would like to be able to have them in the same room again, but the male still wants to hump everything that moves. How do I know when it's safe to put them together again?

  • Spiritually speaking, Don't you miss the old spell checker

I do not like the new Yahoo Answers spell checker. Maybe it's just me, but if I misspell a word, the spell checker pops up. If I fix the misspelled word then, it won't allow me to fix any others.

If I wait until I am done with my sentence, the spell checker disappears and I can't get it back.

Doesn't this irritate you down to your soul?

  • Was the Bible the first history book?

Was there nothing else important in the world, that didn't involve Jesus?

And I am not saying Jesus wasn't important - And I know paper wasn't that easy to come by back in those days. I know there are LOTS of books now about Egypt, and everything else we have dug up. I am just wondering if there are any other books that are from back then, about what was going on during that time.

  • Do you believe in Purgatory?

This passage is the main claim to why Catholics believe in Purgatory. Do you believe this does refer to Purgatory, or does it refer to trials we all have to face here on earth?

    1 Corinthians 3

10By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. 11For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. 14If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. 15If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.

  • For believers?

This is an honest question, I just want different peoples opinions on their path to believing.

At some point in your life, maybe when you were young and just starting to study the bible / go to church, did you ever wonder if it was all just brain washing, or did you always have faith in God?
