  • Can gas deteriorate enough to cause a lawn mower to stop running in 3 months if it is being used every week?

I had my mower repaired at the beginning of the season (April) because I had left old gas in it over the winter and it wouldn't start. I was charged roughly $140 for a new carburetor and fuel change. In July, it stopped running again. The repair company said it was old fuel again (and want to charge me $90). Is that possible? I use my mower once a week but have not had to add gas because my lawn is small. I suppose the gas could have gone stale over the past 3 months, but want to make sure I'm not totally getting ripped off.

  • Is there a free program for mac to convert from PDF to word?

I've looked everywhere for a free program to convert a PDF document to a word doc on a mac. There are plenty of options for pcs but none for mac. I am not looking for an online service that will convert and I have not had luck with Open Office or Ghostwriter. File Juicer is OK but is only a trial that limits the pages and adds watermarks. Have seen several posts on this topic but no solution. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!

  • how do i care for bulbs shipped from a nursery until I can plant them?

I received some bulbs from a nursery as a gift, but it's a bit early to plant them. They include lungwort, blazing star, columbine and liriope. I currently have them in the vegetable bin in my fridge, but I'm not sure if this is the right way to store them until I can plant. Thanks for any advice!

  • Can anyone reccomend a DIFFERENT father/daughter dance song?

OK- I know there have been many similar questions, but I have been helping to look for a song for my fiance and her dad to dance to at our wedding recption. We're all stumped. NO country, nothing generic like"butterfly kisses" etc. Can anyone reccomend something different and NOT cheesy and lame? It's tough to find something appropriate that's not overdone AND something that they both like. Dad is more of a jazz guy, she's more rock. This has been the hardest part of planning the wedding so far! Please help!!!
