  • Suggestions? My 6-year-old daughter has begun pooping in her pants!?

She's just about finished with Kindergarten now. It never happens at school, or any other activity/sport. It mostly happens at home. Most recently, we went to dinner after church. We left the restaurant, and stopped at a nursery. I ran in to get one thing (15 minutes at most). While she was in the car with my teenage daughter, my 6-year-old pooped in her pants!!

I've threatened her, spanked her, yelled at her, put her in time-out, made her clean the underwear, etc. One day recently, she had five pairs of underwear in the sink soaking.

I'm going to make an appointment with our Pediatrician this week, and go from there. She's notorious for waiting till last minute to head to the bathroom -- leaking a little bit on her panties; and reeking of urine by the end of the day.

She is my third child, and I've never dealt with anything like this!?

  • Is anyone having brake parts problem with 06 DodgeGrandCaravan?

We bought an 06 SXT brand new. At 8,000 miles the van began vibrating upon braking. The frugal and oh-so-wise Chrysler dealer only shaved my rotors, they did not replace them.

The same thing began at 14,000 miles. The wonderful people at Chrysler dealer refused to do any work on my van. They were blaming me, the driver, as being "too hard on the brakes."

After I did my best to calm down, I then had to take the van to a mechanic we knew, and paid $350 for new brake rotors/pads.

By the way, I drove a 98 Plymouth Voyager van for seven years to the same employer and commuting the same exact route, and we NEVER replaced the rotors on that van!! So, I'm wondering if we got bad parts with this new van.

Any comments would be great to hear!!

  • Any suggestions on teaching a child about how our lives revolve around the clock and time?

My youngest just turned six and is in Kindergarten. We have the most difficult time getting her to understand the clock/time, and why it's important to ... have her bath by a certain time; leave the house for school by a certain time; get in bed by a certain time so she'll be well rested; get up in the morning and get moving to be to school on time, etc.

I've even considered getting her an alarm clock to set in the evening for her bathtime; then set it for story time, and then set again for bedtime.

But regardless, she has no interest in watching the clock; and it makes no difference to her if she's late, which seems to make it more difficult to use as a teaching tool.

  • Need Advice: two teenaged daughters keep taking each other's things!?

My two girls have their own bedrooms. They each have their own bathroom stuff that they pick out -- shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant. So I try to avoid that un-equal sharing crap.

But the big problem is that each of them goes into the others' bedroom to take things. They'll take things that they claim belongs to them, or they help themselves to the others' items (CDs, clothes, shoes, etc.). This usually happens when one is not at home. Then they come home, see that someone has been in their room, and they go to majorly fighting. I've threatened to put locks on their rooms to keep them out of each other's rooms. Can anyone suggest other alternatives?

  • How to get auto glass and mirrors super clean, clear, and streak-free?

When I wash my car, what's the best way to get glass and mirrors super clean and streak-free -- for both inside and outside? Windex, when using a little, or a lot, seems to make it worse. I'd love to hear of anyone's suggestions, even homemade recipes, maybe with vinegar? Thanks!!
