7 AnswersClassical1 decade agoCould you know who is this performer?
Another recording of "Mirage Records" company, which could be my favorite performance of one of my most beloved piano works : Chopin's Scherzo No. 2 in B minor, of course there are some other wonderful performances of this work I really love as of "Krystian Zimerman", "Vladimir Ashkenazy" and others, but this record is different and truly amazing.
And as usual, Mirage company was producing its really excellent records of wonderful performances, however not mentioning at all any performers' details, really a very strange matter!
I've tried contacting them through their official site several time but I received no response at all, and I really want to know who's the performer and obtain his original CD recordings rather than this cassette tape I have, which includes the complete Chopin's Ballades and Scherzos, with same magnificent performance.
So I hope first that you enjoy this performance, and please tell me if you could recognize or guess who's that performer, I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks a lot
4 AnswersClassical1 decade agoCould you know or guess with your experience, who is that performer?
This is an outstanding recording of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1, with really a perfect performance and sound from the work beginning till the end, I couldn't find the performer details or a similar wonderful performance.
It is a tape I obtained about 15 years ago, manufactured by "Mirage Records", however the company was making same stupid thing in all its classical recordings, that is not mentioned any performers' details!
And I really want to obtain a good quality audio CD or MP3 recording of that performance, so could you know what is it ?

7 AnswersClassical1 decade agoHomework questions, what do you think?
This is of course about the continuous people's homework questions as composers' C.V.s, contributions, list of compositions, personal lives, and other similar questions.
The matter I really don't understand that such information could be very easily obtained through the online searches, with definitely much more details than could be provided here.
Also, they would get immediate results rather than waiting for other people's answers.
And finally, it is really much easier and more simple to open google and type any inquiry, than to sign in and go through the Y/A questions!!
Could we call them "lazy people"? the lazy should prefer the easier methods!! so what could it be ?
