I got spacers on monday, they hurrrrrt. So heres a few questions:

1. When will my spacers stop hurting? (3rd day with them so far and I still cant chew)

2. What happens when I get my braces on and does it hurt?

3. How long does it take to get them on?

4. If you've had a palatal expander, tell me about it and if it hurts, how much?

5. What stuff can I eat/drink?

6. Do elastics hurt?

Okay. So I checked my grades and I have 3 D's on my report card. Apparently a D is a failing grade in 9th grade (freshman), so I have to retake 3 classes from 1st semester I think? I am really scared. Can I take them over the summer, as in summer school? And Christmas is here tomorrow and I'm getting an iPhone 4, that will be taken away and I will have to quit voice lessons, my favorite part of life right now. Singing is a dream and that is gonna be ruined now. Im a good kid, a lot of the time. I have my bad moments. I don't wanna be yelled at, I wanna have an adult conversation. Should I talk to my counselor when I go back to school? How can I calm my parents down? I'm trying to prove that I'm a good kid and can succeed but it's hard. It's like every time I get something amazing like an iPhone 4, I screw it up!! I can't do anything right anymore!! :/

I'm having my first voice lesson next week on thursday with my old music teacher! I'm excited not nervous. She's heard me sing a lot in class the past 2 years. But I'm also curious. She told me to bring paper and a pencil to take notes. Like what kind of notes? What will we do? Do I need anything else? What should I eat and not eat, and drink/not drink? Any advice? Should I be nervous? Thanks for any answers! :]

So a while back, I bent my finger in a weird way by slamming it into something pretty hard (on accident, of course) and ever since then, it's been kinda crooked. I've compared it to the same finger on my other hand and it's way crooked-er (if that's a word LOL). There's no pain and I can move it but I'm worried about my bone being out of place and I don't know it. What could be wrong? People are even telling me it's crooked.. What should I do about it? I just ordered a new power adapter and it just came in today. I plugged it into my macbook pro and the orange light is on, but the battery icon (top right) says (0:45) and i click it and it says 0%, then Source: Power Adapter. The charge keeps going down. How do I get it to charge? Best answer = Most Helpful. Thanks. :)

At the end of last school year I asked my teacher to give me private voice lessons

We've recently talked (her and my mom) over the phone about them

She said she does them once a week for 45 minutes

Then said something about kids 2 years older than me doing them with me

But I asked for private lessons like one on one

Not group lessons

So what should I do? I've been looking forward to just one on one

Because I've never had that before

I'm upset now :(

So my hair just got totally damaged by a college girl who cut it. It is now poofy and above my shoulders. It's curly hair. She cut it like the back of it 1 inch short maybe a little shorter, and then the top of the back is a little strip of longer hair. The sides of my hair are about ear lobe length, a little longer. I start high school this Thursday so I was upset and so would clip on extensions work to cover the damage area in the back? Please help me I'm going to a professional tomorrow and she doesn't know if I should get extensions or not but I'm freaking out!! Help me please..

I had this huge knot on the under layer of my hair an it wouldn't come out I tried to get it put for weeks but nothing worked so I decided to cut it out and it decided to be a lot more hair then I thought..I wish I didnt do that!! My mom wants me to go to the hair salon to get it cut anyways so could they fix it?! I have medium length hair so would shaggy layers look good on me?? Please help me I don't know what to do and I'm so mad at myself!

I'm on day 4 of the HCG diet (Day 2 of the VLCD), and I'm doing oral drops. I haven't cheated once, nor had near 500 calories today or yesterday, and just now I had one hot tamale candy, and 2 small bites of a chocolate chip pizza. I was dying inside pretty much. I couldn't help it! Is this bad? I feel so guilty! Help me?!

Hi, I gave my teacher a copy of my song that I was gonna put music to over the school year and it's summer now, so I can't do that and she has the only copy..is it wrong for me to email her asking her to mail me a copy in the mail or what?

Okay so me and my ex broke up like a few months ago and it took me so long to get over him, but now I have another boyfriend who's perfect and amazing and just great. Well, me and Danny (my ex) decided to become friends so we are, and I haven really told him about Tommy (current bf). Danny keeps like giving signals and flirting and stuff, and I never really was 100% over him in the first place..so I'm scared that I might fall back in love with Danny but I still love Tommy soo much.,please help me?

1) How bad is it to get them on/off?

2) What about rubber bands, do they hurt bad?

3) I have to get this thing on the roof of my mouth to align my jaw or something, how bad is that?

4) How bad is it to get that jaw thing mentioned above taken off?

5) On a scale of 1-10 (1 not painful, 10 really painful) How bad are braces?

My mom thinks I hate her, but tbh I just like to be alone. I'm generally a good kid, I get good grades and I'm only 14, what bad could I do? I'm a teenage girl who just needs her space, but I can't seem to get her to understand that. Yes, we'll rarely go out to lunch or something, and it's like ever since my parents divorced, she's been using me to fill the emptiness that she had from my dad. I was forced to stay with her, though I didn't want to and couldn't ever tell her that. I get along so much better with my dad then her, idk why I just do. Her feelings would be crushed if she knew all this. She always tries to ask me personal questions like about my love life, etc, and I just don't wanna be close to her because she just doesn't understand me at all. Yeah she loves me and won't let me forget it, but I don't wanna have that kind of relationship with her. I can't fully trust her. There's reasons why but that's too into detail. Please tell me what to do without hurting her feelings?

Im 13 & in 8th grade. (USA.) I have a vocal music teacher and her name is Ms. Lahmeyer. Im her Faceboo friend but she adds every student of hers so its not crazy or anything..Anyways, my best friend Shyann recently talked to her about a grade and lunch and she said "Honestly, you and Sydney are my favorite students!" Im the only Sydney in my school too! I go to her room with Shyann and just talk and rehearse for a vocal contest coming up and she says Im an amazing singer..Then a few days ago, I walked into her class crying because my uncle had just died and I was super close to him, and she put her arm around me and walked me down the hallway while the other teacher took over class. On the walk, she told me a bunch of advice and stuff about how death makes you stronger or whatever, and I havent cried since. She always waves to me and smiles to me and asks me for help and stuff at the beginning of class an stuff..Ive had 100% in her class 2 years straight and she never gives me detention for chewing gum but she does to everyone else! Every day I look forward to going into her class to see her happy smile and positive attitude because it makes me smile! I promise you this isnt an "Im in love with my teacher" type thing, and Im straight not lesbian (no offense to those who are)..But yeah, please tell me if this is normal and if I could really be her favorite??

Ok so last month i started my period and it was like a really heavy one and stuff but this month barely any discharge at all. Is this normal? And also my mom bought me panty liners and so i need to know am i supposed to use those on a light period or a heavy one or both? please help so i know? oh and also on a period am i supposeed to shower more or stick to once a day? all answers appreciated plz be nice im only 13!

I am currently in this huge snow blizzard and school has been out for a week tomorrow, and its out next week also because there is an even bigger blizzard coming, so What can I do at home because I am so bored and I dont sleep much besides when I am at school so dont tell me to sleep or nap cuz I wont do it. I just got over being ill, and I feel much better besides being BOREDD!

Is it possible to go from 190-About 145-140lbs in 2.5-3months using this diet/exercise custom progra with the support of family & friends?
