  • Help...my marriage is ending!?

My wife and I have been married nearly 5 years. I love her dearly but we haven't been getting on the past year. I know we love each other but she says we've turned into just good pals. I know I pissed her off by maybe not doing as much as I should around the house and playing video games but she's happy we live together in the same house but in seperate rooms.

Her father came to see me and said that if I make more of an effort, not for a result, but to better myself, there may be a change of heart but I don't know...she's very set in her ways and tends to have "blinkers" when she makes a decision. We're both 32 and I can't see life without her.

PLease don't just answer this for 2 points...I need some advice here

  • HJow do I get surround sound from my PC?

I have just bought a Sony DAV-DZ 260 home theatre surround sound system and have it hooked to my pc through the 3.5mm headphones jack. I can hear the sound perfectly but the only speaker transmitting sound is the front left one. I'd like to be able to configure it so that I can watch things saved on my hard drive with the added bonus of surround or even stereo sound. Any ideas?

  • Recording Guitar to PC?

I have my electric guitar plugged into an effects pedal and then into the soundcard on my pc. I can record and playback with effects but the problem is, I can't hear what I'm playing as I record. What software will have a monitor function where my PC will allow me to hear what I'm playing while it records? Should I just do it the old fashioned wat and use a mic in front of my guitar amp?

  • I use my TV as a computer monitor but it seems the window is too big to fit on the screen. Too much scrolling!

It works fine with everyday work on the computer but I have to use the scroll bars too much. How do I make the the window size that the PC is sending smaller? The TV registers as a plug-an-play monitor so there is ony one choice of resolution. Is there a driver I can use?
