For those who don't know c.r.i.s.p.r is the modification in a conceved baby's DNA, before they're a fetus or anything when they're a clump of cells their DNA is modified to create a 'designer baby' with desirable traits such as strength, immunity to disease and a more complex brain. To Christians is this immoral?

They seem to be under the impression that it's a choice to be heterosexual when others find it quite impossible to chose to be attracted to the other gender, it's even been scientifically proven that an individual's sexuality is not up to them. I can't make myself love a random guy that walks across the street nor can I make myself love a girl, so why do Christians think that it's a choice?

So when I was at school before the holidays a Muslim friend offered to make a hijab out of a scarf I was wearing, not to disrespect her I agreed and I quite liked it. So would it be offensive to wear it again without consent/converting?

If in the future we could upload our brains to computers we would be immortal so we won't go to heaven or hell and we could sin all we wanted without going to hell. This would get rid of all religion (except Buddhism) because people only believe in God and abide by his rules to go to paradise when you die but if you upload your brain to a computer you wouldn't die and there would be no need to believe in god. Would atheism be the ultimate belief? Would it always come to this? Or would god intervene (doubt it, I don't think he knows anything about technology) in some way?

I do, I find it heartbreaking when someone's pet dies or a zoo animal is put down because a kid fell into its enclosure (R.I.P harambe) yet when I hear that someone dies on the news, wether there a celeb who passed away peacefully or a random person who was murdered, I feel no emotions. Does anyone feel the same way? If so, do you have an explanation as to why I care more about animals than humans?

With all the metaphors in the bible god could be a metaphor for your conscience, it says the laws of the land are written in your heart/soul isn't that morals everyone has them and your conscience makes them. Jesus said that Moses gave you the laws of the land what if Moses was the king of a biblical land like Babylon and Jesus wasn't gods son but a descendant of Moses that came to reclaim his throne in Babylon because his family had been overthrown.

What if the laws that "god" said were actually the laws of the country back when the bible was written, if these were true wouldn't the bible make a lot more sense among other things? God does all the things your conscience does, if you have sight you can see the universe figuratively creating one, when you have a kid your creating life god would make a lot more sense if he was actually your conscience.

I understand that you want to defend yourselves but it just leads to more violence and doesn't solve anything. The people in the article stated that they feel safer in the uk because of the laws against guns. And don't give me the excuse that there will be a black market on guns because on the survey taken 60 gun related homocides vs over 1000 is a big difference. Why are you against gun control when it saves hundreds of lives? All it takes is an idiot with a trigger to kill someone wether they meant to do it or not

In the UK it's illegal to homeschool a child without a proper tutor (a teacher that comes to your house to teach (science, math and literacy)) for math, science and literacy. I've heard of religious parents homeschooling their kids and not giving them a balanced education e.g. No science or math (advanced e.g. Algebra) just literacy and religious studies. I saw a question a while back (he said that he was American) stating that he was homeschooled and he thaught that sex Ed was teaching kids to be promiscuous (aka turning gay) and that science was lies. I don't understand how the law there can allow such things. Please explain how the education system works
