  • Looking for info about Camp Guernsey, WY?

I'm going for advanced expeditionary skills training at Camp Guernsey, WY next month in preparation for an upcoming deployment. Without violating OPSEC, is there anyone that's been through this course in the last year or two that can tell me what to expect for this 2 week course? What's the billeting like, how much time spent in the field, what are the instructors like (do they have a god complex?) etc.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Two WiFi Connections (1 usb, 1 built-in). Need to connect other device through USB (Nintendo DS)?

Not even sure if this is possible, but here it goes... I have a laptop that connects to my wireless router through the built-in wireless card. I also have a USB Wireless G adapter. Because of issues with the DS and my specific router (Linksys WRT54GX) (and yes, I've already tried the changing the transmit rates and everything else Nintendo suggested), what I'd like to do is set up my laptop so that the DS can connect to the USB wireless (Tenda W54U) on my laptop so that it can reach the internet through my built-in wireless card.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Ad-Hoc mode and creating a network bridge, but I don't have the wireless networking experience to get it to work.

I know you can buy the official Nintendo WiFi USB thing, but I already have this other USB adapter and would prefer to save the $40 if possible!

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

  • Cornhole board construction question..need tips to easily and accurately cut the holes in the board?

Supposed to cut a 6 inch round hole, but the only hole saws I've found at tool stores max out at 4in (maybe 5). What's the best way to get a nice round hole. I've tried using a jigsaw and a sander but I know it can be better. Thanks for the help!

For those that are immature or just don't know, cornhole is a game popular in Ohio and areas around it. You have two boards with a hole cut in each and two teams of two take turns throwing bags filled with corn onto the boards and, hopefully for more points, into the hole. It's like horseshoes but no one gets a broken ankle! :) It's actually pretty addicting, plus when you build your own, you can customize it. There's huge cornhole tournaments all around Ohio.
