  • Itunes has deleted all my playlists and then music and now says my ipod is synced to another computer?

I went into itunes this morning and none of my playlists were there. I looked up how to get them back with some online help guide but instead of fixing the problem, itunes erased all my music as well (when I say erased, I mean it is not in itunes anymore, but the files are still in their original folders). I added the music back in, but now when I sync my ipod touch it says that it's synced with another computer, ONLY IT'S NOT.

Ugh, what do I do? This is extremely frustrating. Thanks for all answers!

  • Nintendo DS Lite won't charge?

Whenever I plug my charger into my DS Lite the little light at the top will turn orange for a millisecond and then go out. It does this every time I plug the charger in but It won't continually charge. My DS is probably from around 2006 and I've never changed the battery. Do I need a new battery? Or do you think my charger might be broken?

  • I think my parakeet is sick?

He is hardly moving and when I went to let him out of his cage today he tried to nip me. He was staying with another keet, who is fine, but I seperated the two of them just in case. My keet is eating, but I haven't seen him drink yet. He doesn't seem too fluffed up, but he is sleeping alot. He let me stroke is back, which is rare, since he normally flies away, but it just put him to sleep. I've been keeping him in my room, which is usually really warm, and I still am, but I put covers over his cage. I've called all local vet hospitals and clinics and none of them take birds. Does he maybe have a cold? If you have experience with this kind of situation, what did you do to make your bird better?

  • If someone doesn't agree with abortion unless it's in a case of rape, do you still consider them pro life?

I'm not looking for people to go nuts over this, I"m just wondering what everyone's opinion is. I have a friend who does not agree with someone having an abortion "no matter what" except if someone gets raped, because apparently if someone is raped, to her, it isn't sex, although I'm sure it is defined as "forced sexual intercourse--". So I was wondering what everyone thought- if you believe that abortion is okay in a case of rape are you pro life or pro choice? Personally I thought you'd be sort of in between, because I believe most radical pro lifers don't believe in abortion even in the case of rape because they don't believe it to be the babies fault, so they wouldn't consider someone who condoned it in any way to be pro life.

What do you think? Thanks for all your answers in advance.

  • If you have two parakeets will one try to establish dominance over the other?

Although they both have seperate cages, I occasionally put my sister's parakeet (Chib) into my parakeet's (Bubo) cage for company or to sleep. However, I've noticed recently that sometimes when Bubo goes to do something, like climb to a new perch or eat/drink, Chib will shreik and nip at him. Whenever they are out together on their play gym, however, Chib never does anything to Bubo. Actually, Bubo tries to groom Chib as much as possible and is normally the first to initiate in grooming. Occasionally, Chib grooms Bubo back. I was just wondering if Chib was trying to establish dominance over Bubo, since Chib is older and slightly larger than him.

  • Spice and Wolf manga?

So I'm finishing up watching Spice and Wolf season 2, and today I was at V-Stock and I saw that they had Spice and Wolf volumes 1-4 in the Manga section. I have read on several sights that Spice and Wolf has a manga and a light novel series. Since these were written like a regular book (with some pictures) I was guessing that they were the light novels. Yet I just read somewhere else online that there were 17 light novels (perhaps each chapter was 1 light novel in Japan, and they got combined for a larger light novel in the U.S.?). I guess what I'm wondering is if what I bought was the light novel or the manga or if they are both the same. Because I've looked on amazon and I can't find any Spice and Wolf on there that looks like a traditional manga that is read right to left and is all drawings and panels.

Oof, okay I'm done. If you can clarify all this for me that would be awesome. Thanks for all answers in advance.

  • How long will it take my parakeet to become playful?

I bought my parakeet about two and half weeks ago, and in the time I've had him I've gotten him to be tame. I'm able to get him to step up and come out of the cage with out grabbing him, and if he hops off my hand and onto the floor he will seek me out to be picked back up.

The only thing is, even though I manage to get him out of his cage, whenever he's near it he will try to get on top of it, and when he does he runs away from my hand. He has some toys in his cage that jingle, and I've even made him a homemade toy feeder but he shows no interest at all in any of them. When he's in his cage he just chirps and chills on a perch.

My younger sister also has a parakeet, which she has neglected in training. I just clipped his wings for her this afternoon to make training him easier for her (if you object to clipping, please sit down and don't post hate replies, thank you). I let my parakeet near hers so they can socialize, but when I do so it is like all his training goes out the window and he won't listen to me. They are housed seperatly, but should I keep them from socializing with one another as well? How long will it take for my parakeet to start becoming playful and interacting with his toys?

    Thanks for all answers!

  • What is the sex of my parakeet (pictures included)?

I got her a couple weeks ago from Petco, which I was told carries both sexes. I uploaded some close ups of her face to flickr, so if any of you could help me out it would be appreciated!

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/29728640@N04/

I feel like my parakeet is female, but I admit to honestly having no clue. It may not even be old enough to tell! But I wanted some other opinions.

(If you're going to get on here and bash me for buying my parakeet at Petco, please shove off now. There aren't shops that sell parakeets hand raised where I live, and trust me, I checked.)

Her training is also going pretty well, in case anyone wanted to know :)

  • Some photos for my 35 mm Holga are overexposed and underexposed?

So I bought a 35 mm Holga and I've gotten several roles developed but on every role I have photos missing because of overexposure and underexposure (they're either transparent or black).

I understand that Holgas can be very "unstable" because they are cheap and plastic and that they can get light leaks, but after looking over my film I noticed that there wasn't any patterns between which photos turned out and which didn't.

The camera has 4 different focus settings (3 ft, 9 ft, 15 ft, and 30 ft away). And 2 aperture settings for cloudy and sunny days. And a long exposure and normal exposure.

I've checked when there was no film to make sure the shutter doesn't stick. I didn't have the lens cap on. And I made sure it was set to normal exposure and was set on the right aperture for cloudy or sunny and that the focus was set right.

I'm a beginner, and I make mistakes, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice to give me so that my photos would show up.

    Thanks for answering!

  • Questions about Holga camera and film?

    Hello Yahoo world,

So, I've recently become very interested in lomography, and I ended up order a Holga that holds 35 mm film off of amazon.

    Camera: http://www.amazon.com/Gretchen-Bleiler-Limited-Hol...

But I had some questions when it came to developing the film. I read online somewhere that the film can't see the light so you have to use a dark room. My camera club at school has one so that won't be an issue. But I thought it was weird that when I looked searched "holga camera 35mm photos" most of the pictures that popped up had the little holes at the top and bottom. (I like to consider myself an amateur photographer, but I don't know technical terms and such, plus I've only ever used a digital camera or a throwaway camera). Anyways, when I develop my film, are the pictures gonna look like that? Cause I want them solid. I also was wondering if It would be a good idea to develop the film at Walgreens or Walmart or if I should stick to only using the dark room at my school. I read somewhere else that the pictures turn out bad at those stores.

And lastly, the reason I bought my holga was because I like photos that can look oldish and washed out, with light streaks and grainy areas and such. I just figured with the Holga you just snap the button and a picture is taken, but my friend told me doing different things cause different effects. Like holding the shutter and stuff. What are some basic techniques that are good to know when taking photos with my holga?

Whew, ok, I'm done. Thanks for bearing with me and thanks for reading and responding.

  • Can I feed my cat Pro Plan?

We bought my dog Pro Plan: Sensitive stomach and skin formula, and my cat has taken a liking to it. He sits at the pantry door and meows incessantly. I have been giving him handfuls of it as a snack every now and then, but if I started giving it to him in larger quantities will it have any long term effects?

I'm looking into if they have Pro Plan for cats, in case anyone was going to suggest that. But I think the reason he likes it so much is because there is salmon in it.

  • Who's running for president in 2012?

I've realized that even though I can't vote yet that I should still know what's going on in politics. So I was wondering if someone could give me a list of presidential candidates (is that the right terminology?) and maybe some info on them like issues they are very outspoken and passionate about and what party they are from. Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer.

Also, I would rather your answers not be biased. Please don't come on here ranting on how some of the candidates are terrible people, yada yada yada. But feel free to say who you think has the best chance of winning and who you might vote for.

  • Motorola XPRT vs. Lg Rumor Touch vs. Lg Optimus S?

I have to choose what phone to get and it's between these three. I get my phone through my dad's company and I was given a list to choose from. I really want a touch screen, and these are the only touch screens on the list. I went on sprint to learn some stuff about them but I thought that maybe outside help would help me choose. So if you have one of these phones or a friend does and you can give me some pros and cons that would be great.

Thanks in advance for your answers(:

  • The Tomb of Ligeia ending?

I just got finished watching the movie The Tomb of Ligeia, starring Vincent Price (whom i love), and the ending kind of threw me off. I don't understand if Ligeia was dead or alive, why her body was made of wax in the tomb, if the cat was Ligeia... and I thought Verdon killed Rowena?

If you seen the movie or read the book (is it even a book? I know it's edgar allan poe, so that's what i'm guessing) please feel free to share your thoughts. And thanks for all answers!

  • Am I at risk for Parkinson's?

I just recently found out my grandpa has Parkinson's. He was restricted to a chair/walker for awhile, but lately he's been doing alot better and can even walk with a cane. My dad hasn't been tested for Parkinson's and hasn't shown any signs that I've noticed, but what can I even look for? Tremors? I'm just wanting to know what my risk for getting the disease is, and I believe member's of my family have had it before. Thanks for your time and answers.

Also, my grandpa is in his late 70's.

  • The care of baby chicks?

My little sister's school hatches chicks around Easter time, and since my uncle owns some chickens we were allowed to take two home. I've raised a baby robin before (he turned out healthy, and once he began flying we were able to find a wildlife care facility for him, just so you know) and what I usually fed him was soaked cat food (i drained the water, i just needed it to be soft) which the wildlife care rehabilitator was a perfect thing to do but, is that okay for baby chicks to eat? I have a food and water dish in their pen ( large guinea pig cage, until the weather gets warmer) since I know they are pretty self sufficient from the time they hatch.

Is this okay for them? Also, what kinds of toys can I give them for stimulation?

I'm trying to be a good mother, haha.

    Thanks for all answers!
