My name is Elizabeth and I'm a 21 year old college student, majoring in accounting. I love animals more than anything, especially my dog, Piper. My faith is extremely important to me. I have the best family and friends in the entire world and couldn't ask for anything more.

  • When does Effexor start working?

I've been on Effexor 75mg for 2 1/2 weeks. I have seen a decrease in my anxiety, but it has yet to help my depression symptoms. I'm also chronically tired and have nausea from time to time. Can anyone tell me from experience when they started to see a lift in their depression?

    Thanks!

  • Pain 1 week after wisdom teeth extraction?

I had all 4 wisdom teeth (none impacted) removed exactly 1 week ago. I developed a dry socket by day 2 and went back to have it treated. That particular socket is causing minimal pain now luckily :) However, the rest of my mouth just feels very sore, almost like it's bruised all over. My jaw is causing a lot of stiffness and soreness as well. Although the pain does get better a tiny bit each day, I feel like it should be healing a bit faster than it is. Luckily I can now sleep through the night and am mostly off the prescription pain killers and only taking ibuprofen. I'm missing eating real food and am getting tired of the constant ache. Any advice as to when this might subside?

    Things I'm doing:

rinsing with rx rinse 2x a day

rinsing with salt water after meals

taking ibuprofen 2x or so a day

using a bit of clove oil around the bottom extraction sites

  • Fitness Inline Skates?

I have started inline skating just about everyday for fitness. I have a decent pair of recreational skates, but they aren't really designed for everyday use. I definitely need an upgrade, but am unsure which ones to choose. Since I'm going to be spending a good chunk of money on them I would like a little input from people who skate for fitness. Which skates do you prefer? I'm a female by the way...

  • What happens if I don't believe the bible?

I have been brought up christian my entire life, now that I'm 22, I have started to start actually thinking for myself. And to be honest, I just can't buy that we are all sinners b/c someone was tricked by a magic snake to eat an apple. Nor can I believe that the entire universe just "happened." What am I to do? I don't know much about other religions, as I do believe in a higher being and would like some sort of direction- just not sure if christian is it..... Any suggestions?

  • Pain in rhomboid major?

For years I have had pain in the right side of my back between my shoulder and my spine. It feels like it is on fire and throbbing. The pain is always much more prominent after I have been studying at a table for long periods of time, then takes a few days to wear off- only to return again with a vengeance. From muscle diagrams I have seen, the pain seems to be coming from the rhomboid major. Any advice as to what I can to do alleviate some of this pain?

  • Why such blurry vision?

I have no trouble reading things that are right in front of me, but when I look up to something a slight distance away my vision take longer than normal to focus. Sometimes it even looks like I'm looking at everything from underwater, but once I blink it goes away and I can focus. Is my vision going bad or could it just be something else?

  • What is your favorite shampoo/conditioner?

I have very long, thick hair- and the texture is fine. I'm looking for a shampoo that won't strip my hair of moisture and won't weigh it down. What do you like to use in your hair? I'm currently using biolage normalizing shampoo and conditioning balm. However, I find the shampoo to be a bit drying.

  • Why on Earth would you buy an animal without $ to care for it?

I keep reading posts by people who say "there's something wrong with my pet but i can't afford a vet, what do i do?" - It really makes me mad that people don't think of all the upkeep fees an animal requires. If you love animals and want a pet, wouldn't you wait until you could afford proper care for it? I just don't get it!

  • International pet shipping?

I am moving from the US to Australia and I need my dog to come along. I'm very nervous about putting him in the luggage hold since they can often die under there. Is there any other way? Maybe an airline that specializes in pet transport? I know there is one for the US only, but I need an international flight...any ideas??

  • West Michigan tent camping?

I am looking for a nice, rural tent camping site to go to with my dog. Does anyone know of any nice place, preferably near a beach that isn't a campground? I don't want to be camping with 500 other people. I would like it even more if there was some hiking to the campsite. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

  • What major outside influences affected Sears company?

I am starting my research for a formal report about the Sears company and am wondering if anyone knows a good starting point. It must be about outside influences affecting the company- so anything that is beyond its control.

  • Which religion do you prefer?

I have been raised in Christianity, but would like to explore other religions just because I never have before. I would like to see what else is out there rather than just blindly believing in something just because I've always been told it's right. I have a firm belief in a superior being- but nothing else is set in stone. I would really like to expand my spirituality.

  • If you don't chose to follow a religion, why is that?

The more posts I read on here, the more I see that there are a lot of atheists. Why do you choose not to follow a religion? Were you not brought up in the church or have you just come to the conclusion later in life?
