2 AnswersMathematics7 years agoI have a question about significant figure rules.?
Say I need to find the volume of a box with the following dimensions: 5.3cm * 6.2cm * 7.12cm using L x H x W. I know I use the number of sig figs of my smallest number, (6.2cm) in my final calculation. However, the answer, 233.9632cm^3, will have at least three sig figs before the decimal point. What do I do? Where do I round off? I thought that focusing on sig figs after the decimal point was only a rule for adding/subtracting in sig fig rules.
I know that I can express the answer in scientific notation, but what do I do with the extra decimals?

Are they just unwilling to invest in the proper infrastructure? Is there some sort of government regulation of cell phone tower wattage?

There's no option on the website; you have to call them during their hours. Then they try to offer you a better deal. Then they put you on hold.
