I moved to Oklahoma City in spite of wife's depression of being away from home. I served 5 years in the Marine Corps and my wife just got tired of being away from her home. So we moved here once I go out, but it seems like from day one I have had so many problems with her family. Her brothers and sister do not acknowledge me, her mom and dad keep asking us for every dollar that we make. Her mother is under the impression that I do not understand spanish so she talks a lot of bad stuff about me in front of people while i'm there. My wife has no idea what to do, but the worst part of the whole situation is that now its starting to affect our son who is 2 1/2 years old. Before we moved here I had a job as a government contractor bringing home about $6,000 dollars a month, talk about good money. The bad part is that my wife kept giving her family the notion that she was doing extremely well and she had money to give. So when we first got here we were loaning out money and helping out a lot more than we should have. In one incident her brother asked me for money to pay his child support cause supposedly he didn't have any and of course he promised to pay me back but he never did. Months later the situation grew worse as my wife began to help her sister with her mortgage and bills, a day or two before my wife got her paycheck her sister would come up and start telling my wife about her financial problems as usual. I began to tell my wife that she could not be helping her family due to the fact that I saw this as being their only relationship to each other. They were just plaining using her and at times taking money from my pocket as well. This is tough because my wife's name is under the house that her sister including husband and kids live in, but my wife doesn't live in the house. The fact that she has the house under her name affects when it comes to getting her own place, let alone a car, leaving all the stress on me. I feel absolute anger towards her family because I am disgusted that a person especially a family member, let alone ones mother, would treat people in such a way. I am leaving to New Mexico for a great job opportunity, but the bad part is that i'm leaving my wife and kid behind for the moment. I will be sending them money but how am I to know that she will not be giving that money to family ?? Her family doesn't like to work and expect nothing but hand outs. I feel like I don't want my wife and son to have a relationship with her family anymore. Sometimes I think its the best solution.

i cant stand my brother in law. He is 10 years older than me but he is a complete slob. He asked me for money to pay his child support and never paid me back. Then he constantly leaves his daughter in our care while he goes out. His daughter is just a complete brat and i hate it when shes at my place. I feel like kicking this guys ***. What should i do?

i recently moved to my wifes hometown so she can closer to her family. I thought this move would benefit the both of us on the aspect that she wont be home sick anymore. Things have been good on her side since we got here but i keep getting the impression that they think less of me. Most of the times i dont hold conversations with her brothers and sisters but were always loaning them money which i think is wrong. Another example is today for one of her nephews birthdays we bought a present at my expense like always no big deal but other people showed up who i had no clue who they were and no one bothered to introduce me nor did they introduce themselves to me i feel as if i still am the guest and should be properly introduced especially if i keep loaning them money. Aside from that matter i give them the benefit of the doubt due to that maybe they feel intimidated by me from my prior service in the marines or the fact that i obtained a bachelors in science. The thing is though i cant ignore that this is unacceptable and it is a form of treatment that can not be tolerated. I know that most people who feel as if someone is inferior will not say hi or even ask who a person is. Do my in laws think less of me and if so why do they keep asking for money. I also feel that my spouse has responsibility to the matter as well.

I recently moved here from washington dc where i had a job paying 35 an hour. I moved to oklahoma city cause my wifes family is here but i noticed how the locals are not used to seeing an educated hispanic person. Im currently going to a university where i am the only hispanic male when i try to participate in class some of the students seem aggitated that i speak in class. When my wife and i go.out to eat people who are white stare at us as if something is wrong. The other day i went to a book store asking the lady who worked there about a date when a book is coming and she became easily aggrevated. Anytime i get a call from an employeer they are always trying to.pay me less than what is required. Its hard to think that the color of my skin doesnt have anything to do with how the locals perceive me. Are the people in oklahoma city racists? im not use to ignorance so its hardfor me to tell

im getting the feeling that my sister in law doesnt think highly of me. My wife and i, including our son recently moved into our mother in laws house due to her missing home so much. She stayed with me 3 years while i was in the military for a duty station in San Diego and DC. Well we have been staying here for about a month until we get a place of our own but i noticed how my sister in laws kids are extremely unpolite towards my wife and i. My wife said not to take it personal cause thats the way they are with everyone. The thing is though i see how they treat their other uncles and its more respectful. The kids never acknowledge me by saying good morning or how are you doing. I believe kids are a direct reflection of what their parents make them to be. I have heard the kids mom tell her kids once not to date black people and instead go for white people, i told my wife that her sister is wrong by teaching her kids ignorant stuff. This leads me to believe that she tells her kids to not show my wife and i respect because truely deep down she is jealous that we have plans for ourselves. I heard her kids say once to my wife im not suppose to listen to you. This was enough evidence for me to know that my sister in law had a hand in their behavoir and no longer leading to suspicion. My wife recently started working leaving my son under my care. Before my sister in law use to make breakfast and act like the lady of the house hold but when my wife wasnt around anymore she stopped asking to play with my son and cooking breakfast. Like as if she was putting on some type of image for everyone. I left my son under her supervision for 5 m8nutes to see if i could trust her and some other kidthat she was warching spray windex in his face. My son started crying saying his eyes bothered him i had no clue of what happened neither did she tell me. Until my wife came home from work that my sister in law said the kid sparyed my son in the face. Trying to make look irresponsible.

I just watched the new episode with the girl named Jordan and I saw how it was ok for the girls mother to be a complete racist but not alright for the kid who is the dad to not want to take that .. This is outrageous I can't believe MTV would even air such a stupid episode .. There is no excuse to why a black person who be racist towards anyone .. Those people are lucky others work so hard for them to just collect welfare and unemployment .. I feel so bad for that kid who is put in that situation but if I were him I wouldn't feel comfortable going to see my son in that house where black people say racist remarks to me ... I understand where he is coming from because I live in an area where a lot of blacks are and it is true black people here think they are better than others and treat anyone outside their race unfair ... I'm glad MTV showed this episode so people can see that black people are just as racist as whites ... It's time for black people to stop hiding behind the shadow of their ancestors and start owning up to their actions once and for all it's time that they start being treated exactly like everyone else .... Would you guys agree that black are taking extremely way too much advantage of the government system and that it's time for them to stop getting special treatment and start owning up to their own actions

It's wierd I live in the DC metro area I grew up here my whole life.. I just got home from doing my term of service in the marine corps and I realize how much I have changed and began to see others in a different way ... I noticed how everyone around here is a wana be ****** and it gets me upset ... The black people here are so racist and think they are better than everyone when they are all lazy and collect welfare while driving they nice expensive cars .. It disgust me how a group of people who are so uneducated and poor dare to look their noses down on others .. My time in the marines changed me for the better ... I really living back here at home now because I see how mostly everyone here are losers

I was told today that I could be disqualified for recieving unemployment because I am currently enrolled in college ... All I am taking is one class on saturday early in the morning at 8 am ... Will they really not approve me because of school ?? I was upset to hear this because I would feel that they would encourage people who are seeking employment to better themselves by any means possible .. I asked if I told you no I was not attending school then what would u do ? It made me upset because I feel as if I will not be recieving benefits for just being honest ... Does anyone know how I can still manage to receive unemployment while atleast taking just one class ?? I feel like I should just lie and say no I'm not going to school .. I mean what can they do about it ?

Im watching this episode of true life and this Asian girl is using old men for money to pay her moms expenses and her mon is encouraging her ... Wtf ??... I remember dating a couple of Asian girl and they were very fond of money .. Even choosing others because of it ... Seems like all Asian women are whores

What is the deal in my house ??? My older brother brought home some homeless girl off the streets who had a little and my parents still haven't kicked him out .... He has been warned over several times to stop screwing up ... Now he has sunk an all time low as far as disrespecting my parents house ... He has told my dad to screw himself so many times and has done what he pleases ... Why hadn't my dad thrown this guy out?? The house is a mess .. The yard is an embarrassing site .. This guy does not play the role nor shows any signs of wanting to improve his behavior ... Why does my dad allow this guy to stay in the house ?!!

My younger brother just talked to me like I was a guy off the street when I am his older brother who just came home from doing 5 years in the marine corps ... He told my mom hey I'm leaving in the middle of the night to go out with my friend .. I told my mom hey do u know who he's going with or where he's going or what he is going to do ?? She told me no that she knew he would be ok .. I told her no that's not good parenting .. She can't just let him go on the streets when he pleases... Then my brother tried to tell me off like im just some bum off the street ... This out raged me.. My mother didn't even bother to correct him.. Let alone the house they stay in is under my name

I remember hearing one time how people did this study on babies where there were seeing weather babies needed love and nurture to live... In their studies they found that one of the babies died from not having any human contact .. No affection or love from a person ... This makes me so upset to hear how anyone would allow someone to do such an awful thing to a baby ... It makes me sad to hear about that especially because I have a son and it breaks my heart to hear that a baby gave up the will to live because it had no one to love them... I feel like people that do those studies should never live in peace and isolate themselves from society and die from starvation

If my wife were to take my son and not tell where they were going could I call the police and have her arrested for kidnapping ?? Again this is not an agreement we made to where she can take my son to wherever and stay with who ever she wants ... I don't trust her or the people she will try to bring around my son ... She has no family back at home and will pretty much be staying with a complete stranger in my book ... In the other hand I do have family where we live and feel its much safer for the child to stay close to family members other than her random friends on the street

Does anyone know how much percentage of a disabilty rating I would get for a shoulder that suffered multiple dislocations ... Received surgery for it also they found that I lost 25% of my rotor cuff bone .. Does anyone know what kind of a rating I would get ??

I use to be in the military where my base pay was E-3 .... I also had a wife and son so I basically got 1951 every 2 weeks ... How will unemployment determine how much they will give me ?? And how much will I actually get ?? This is in the state of Maryland

I feel as if she does nothing to help the household .. I feel like I'm the only one who makes anything happen for us... She hasnt worked for 2 years and she claims it was because she was pregnant and then had to take care of our son ... But from her not working only brought us harsh times and more debt ... Even when she saw how we were struggling she still didn't work not even to help me with anything ... For a long time i felt like I was getting taken advantage of ... I feel as if my wife is not the right person for me .. I don't believe in that way of living a life .. All she does is sleep I can't stand it... She never cooks... I spend about 200 in groceries and sometimes the food rots from not being cooked .. It's an insult to me ... This person doesn't make me happy anymore ... I never expected her to be like this ... Not working and not even caring about how I feel about this ... To me this is a strong issue .. I feel as an adult she must work especially because we have a son now ... I'm thinking the only way to make things right is to go our seperate ways ... What should I do ??
