I just purchased a Profoto D1 studio light kit. It came with an air remote transceiver. After testing it out, I learned that I can fire off both strobes with both my D800 and D600 in commander mode. Also I can use my speedlights as commanders to fire the strobes as well. I saw that the Profoto remote are selling for around $300-$400 so I'm thinking about selling it. Are there any huge advantages to using the transceiver as opposed to the commander modes on my cameras and speedlights? Thanks for reading, any expert advice would be greatly appreciated!

I recently did a photo shoot for a Hilton Hotel and the images are being used on their website. The photos are being displayed in a flash slideshow. What would be the best way to incorporate the photos and website into a physical tear sheet portfolio?

I'm looking to buy an 85mm 1.4 lens for portraits, but I will also be using it for indoor sports so I need a fast and accurate auto focus. The AF is about $500 cheaper than the AF-s. I don't have any experience with the standard AF lenses. If anyone has experience with both of these lenses I would appreciate any feedback concerning the auto focus speed and accuracy, as well as an overall image quality comparison.

I suspended my Facebook account a couple of months ago but I want to reinstate it. I'm curious if I'm going to have to block the people I had blocked previously. I just don't want to forget someone I've blocked in the past and have them see my stuff or try to contact me.

It was working fine until yesterday, then suddenly it wouldn't let me. I'm not the owner of the spreadsheet but I have full editing authority. I am using it in a Firefox browser. I tried it in a Chrome browser and it still wouldn't let me.

I will be taking the team and individual photos for a youth indoor football league this summer. There will be approximately 500 kids. This league is a club league and is not associated with the schools. I have worked with these guys in the past doing informal work and they have verbally committed to me that I am their photographer. I have a meeting with the administrators this week and will be negotiating a kickback percentage for the league. What is standard? Whats the max? I was going to offer 7.5%.

Next week I'm going to California and will be driving from Los Angeles to San Simeon. Anyone have any suggestions for great photo ops? I'll be visiting Hearst Castle but I'm looking for stuff along the way. I'll be using a Nikon D300.
