I was driving with my 6 month old and got hit head on after he came across the yellow lines. the impact flipped and rolled us and we slid on my roof. I crawled out on my knees on my roof and then had to sit and watch my baby hang inside the car until they finally got her out. very scary. she had glass in her mouth and i had neck, knees, back,wrists and ankle pains and cuts all over me. i had physical therapy and xrays etc totaling 11,000 and i hear about this "general rule" of 3x medical- but i have 2 other kids and a husband and a life that took a while to get adjusted to. im in college and it hurts in my knees still when i walk and so much more inconveniences. like i'm scared of cars hittiing me now- i even jump if they come too close. what do you think?

I got a sopena for court this friday for thurs. i guess the guy is fighting the citation. it says "the city of.... vs him" on it. i'm called to be a witness. does this mean he's saying its my fault? I was just driving along northbound that day and traffic was stopped in the southbound lane and a truck came over the hill and couuldn't stop in time and crossed the double solid yellow lines and hit us all the way down my car and when got to the end it flipped us and we rolled and slid on the roof of my car. is there any way he can get out of this?? i think he's being stupid. it was clearly his fault. he was going too fast in his truck with the trailor he had on the back (that had no brakes). should i get a lawyer?

does anyone know the most common required permits needed to work on your own house?? we want to lay floor down in our attic of our house? do we need a permit to do this? i live in the city too in case that helps...we just bought this house in april 05 and its our 1st house ...we don't know much...please help!!

I have been worried since i became pregnant that i would deliver a preemie. but now i've made it this far and im so happy...... I now hope she'll come around 38 weeks, but i dont know which 38 weeks is the most accurate..is it the lmp (last mentrual period) or the ultrasound? it was 13 1/2 weeks since my period when i had my u/s. it moved me back a week and a day. i was just wodering what you people thought..

btw- I'm1-2 cm dilated at appt wednesday and have had contractions on and off so i hope shes full term if i go into labor soon....

my husband thinks if you have enough money you could buy a state- like deleware or something. i told him that you can't in America due to the constitution and such laws. i need some real facts to prove it to him- because he said i needed to prove it. please help so i can shut him up!

My husbands mother says that it is very good and the "ONLY" way to care for a newborns umbilical cord. I disagree and found on some websites that its actually dangerous and can promote infections. i strongly disagree to do it to my baby, but my husband insists his mother is always right! I am lost and don't know what to do. i won't do anything that can potentially harm my baby but yet if it isn't harmful then i might just agree with it to make him happy. Please Help!

****IM 27 1/2 WEEKS PREGNANT SO IM NOT JUST SAYING FRIEND TO DIGUISE MYSELF****

She has gained weight, been nasious, and other pregnancy symptoms. she has missed last two periods and is going to get a blood test monday at drs. I just don't see why it says negative, has anyone else went throgh this? she wants a baby but im trying to not tell her "you are pregnant" and get her hopes up. Please tell me what you think.

from 22 weeks to 26 weeks i gained 11 lbs. i have only gained 14 lbs before that (total of 25 pounds) the entire pregnancy. and now all of a sudden i have gained this much. i'm scared. someone said that it is possibly gestational diabetes. do you guys have any ideas?? and by the way, i have eaten the same that i have the entire pregnancy. i haven't added anything new to my caloric intake or been eating out more. anyone else do this and still be a healthy regular pregnancy without complications?

My baby is due on Jan 3, 2007 according to ultrasound. but according to my LMP and when i started ovulating last- she should be due the 26th of december this year. i go to college and want to have enough time between break (dec 15- jan 15) to have baby and recover before classes start again. i can't afford to take a break off for a semester neither, so not an option.

like when you can see the outcome- like what their child would look like?
