I am part explorer, scientist, hippie, caregiver, teacher, and poet. I try to treat others the way I want to be treated. I can take criticism and appreciate it when people speak their mind to me, because I do the same to them. I tend to be descriptive when I talk, I love to laugh and make people laugh. I’m caring, romantic, opinionated, spontaneous, lighthearted, passionate, funny and sincere.

  • What is the tax terminology for money you find? Ex: If you find a watch valued at 14500. Where do you enter it?

Then, what if you later (same year) sell the watch for 19000. Which do you report on that year's tax return?

  • My girlfriend of 2 months broke up with me. She convinced me it was her not being ready, not my fault...?

But I still miss her greatly. She is such a great person. I miss a lot of things about her, but recently I keep thinking of the sex, which was utterly fantastic (she had the body of a supermodel, and we did it unprotected). How- HOW do I get my mind off having sex with her, while it's so hard to do that because we're not together anymore? I am really broken up about the whole thing because while it was only 2 months, I have never been happier - I never had a relationship that fit so well and felt so right. The sex wasn't everything of course, but part of it. I miss her adventurousness and how dirty she could be in bed.

  • I want to make a living off being a mediator (say, for nyc courts, or something), but I have no law degree...?

I want to do mediation, but I have no law degree. I have a bachelor of science degree in something unrelated (computer science). I live in New York City. I want to know if I need a law degree or can I just take a certification class, pass a test, and be able to be hired as a mediator. As for what kind of mediation, I am figuring, for civil court cases, or something. Also, does anyone know where I can find out more information on this job and what it takes to be hired?

  • In printing to an office printer, what is it called when you want the pages to come out in reverse order?

For example, an office employee prints 1 copy of a 70 page document and it prints out 1st page on the bottom, making him have to reorder the entire thing. What is the setting called when you want to remedy this situation, make it print out 1 page on TOP? This is for a Canon 4080 office printer/copier, but maybe the name of the setting, if it exists, can help me out. The employee is printing from a computer to the copier. I am unsure if this also happens when copying hard documents.

  • In a written interview for a development company, I am asked to, using Flash Blitz or Gamemaker, write a demo,

A demo of a little video game. I have no familiarity with these tools, but did graduate with a degree in computer science so I know what coding is. Is this question asking me to literally write out the entire demo? Would writing it in flash code somehow be a lot easier and short than, say, in Java? Should I just fess up for this question (which is for a cell phone game development company, although I am applying for a position in the Q&A dept), admitting I am not familiar with these utilities?

  • What do you think of this which I have written?

A person's heart is the most delicate thing in the world. Handle yours accordingly. Handle others' with extra care, for you know less about theirs than your own.

Since the dawn of our species, humankind has always had an instinctive fear of the night, in one way or another. Some ignore it or manage to deal with it, but it is always there, in the backs of our minds. We are inherently creatures of the day, although that trait can be traded for the embrace of the night. It is possible to have a healthy fear of something you love. In this case, it generates great respect. We Nightlovers respect and love the night, knowing deep down, that our lights, our cities, our cars and other technological protections, are not fully effective against the energy we seek to embrace. Nature demands respect, and while it may love us back, it will harm without hesitation. For the Night is an elemental entity, and bows to no mortals' whim.

  • In YA - Is there a way to look up a question by the person who asked it, rather than vice versa?

Suppose I want to find a person on this website, how do I get to their profile page without clicking on their icon from a question they were involved in?

  • My ACER 19" flatscreen LCD monitor will not turn on. It was plugged into a surge protector, but...?

Has been restarting for the last few weeks, with an increasing frequency of that (up to several times a night) increasing in the last few days. I live in New York City, where there is potential power problems. I tried plugging the monitor into a different socket, with a power surge protector, and after turning off some lights on that circuit, and it still won't turn on at all. Is it broken or burnt out or something?
