I married my husband 10 years ago he had a 2 year old daughter when we met who was 7 when we got married. My step daughter and I got along fairly well as my husband has always had full custody and we were always together. Being the ONLY child in the family she was always spoiled and never reprimanded. We now have 2 more daughters 3 and 8 year olds and my husbands daughter is now 17. She hates her sisters and wants nothing to do with them she won't even come on family vacations with us. Her mind set and answer to everything is that "they" never get in trouble and she is blamed for everything and the whole house revolves around them. She dosent seem to realize she is 10 years older then them and should be more mature in my opinion. Am I missing something???

i am a bridesmaid for my best friends wedding and would like to give a gift basket with a funny poem but looking for something not so traditional

my daughter is 13 and constantly asking for money. i want to give her allowance and all i ask is that she does one chore a day 5 days a week (and these are small chores, dust the living room or clean up after the dog) and keep her room clean. what would be a good allowance? i offered $10 a week and this wasnt enough to get her help around the house.

When you go out to dinner and your check comes it is that time, time to figure out how much gratuity you plan on leaving if any. Are you aware that you server is making less then $5 an hour? For this less then minimum wage pay i am taking your order, making your soup or salad bringing you your food making your dessert clearing your plates and then cleaning the table after you leave. Not to mention getting and refilling drinks and or condiments you may need. I do not make the menu prices, i do not cook the food, and i do not control how long it takes for your food to come out. Please keep all this in mind the next time you dine out and while we are doing all this for you we can be doing it for up to 7 more tables at the same time.

What can be causing the power steering fluid to be draing out of my car? It was a little bit at first and i would just top it off now i am adding at least 1 small bottle a day to keep it from locking up. Is this an exspensive fix? It is a 1997 and i don't want to dump money into fixing it if it is not worth it.

I was in an auto accident where i was sitting at a red light and another car drove into the back of my car. I was brought to the hospital via abulance and underwent two months of physical therapy. I was supposed to continue the therapy but was unable to because of my lack of child care for my 2 children. I suffer lower back pain when i stand to long and it took me nearly 2 months to drive to and from work or after dark. I was just given a settlement offer for $1500 and i do not feel this is enough. i also have outstanding bills that no-fault did not cover. how much should i counter offer the claim?
