When I run this code the Accumulator A has 02H in it. Shouldn't it be 03H? What am I doing wrong?

Ok, it's been a while since I've had dynamics. Say I have a pendulum with a massless string and a point mass on the end. Everywhere I've looked it says the kinetic energy is

KE = 1/2 MV^2

I understand for a point mass the mass moment of inertia is 0, but if this point mass is on a string connected to the ground, shouldn't there be a md^2 on the end of the KE equation because of the parallel axis theorem? Can anyone explain why it's not there?

Does anyone know any good German/Belgum/Netherlands songs I can use for my european slide show? I don't want like hard rock.....they're mostly pictures of the little quaint towns and villages. I'm looking for a more relaxed piece with maybe a beat to help with picture transitions. Any suggestions?

I asked this really nice girl out and she said she'd rather be friends first. I was totally cool with that, but later on she IMed me to tell me she didn't want to go out. When I asked why she said "Because you didn't lie to me". You see, earlier that month she asked me how many gf's i've had and I was just completely honest and told her none. Does this mean I should start lying to girls if I want to date them? I'm really confused.

Why when you can't find everyone are you supposed to yell "Olly Olly Oxen Free"

What does it mean? Where does it come from? Why am I setting my Oxen Free? I don't even have oxen! I wish I did....because....lets face it......that'd be awesome.

I'm kinda mad about the new way the NHL schedule is set up. The wings played the Blue Jackets and the Blackhawks 8 times each I believe. I think teams play teams in their own division 8 times each. Unfortunately, and no offense to people in columbus and chicago, at least last year, the teams were not very good so my team, detroit, for example got about 30 extra points by playing "easier" teams. This made them seem better than they were and so management didn't make any trades. False sense of security i guess.

If I also remember correctly the wings, an original 6 team didn't play boston OR toronto this year at ALL.

How do you all feel about the new scheduling...do you think we should go back to the way the schedules used to be?

I'm a nice down to earth guy who's not really comfortable with the club/bar scene. Where do you suggest is a good place to meet a nice girl where they'd expect guys to meet them. That's kinda key because I don't think walking up to someone in a McDonalds or something is really appropriate you know. For example, in a bar, you know there's a chance you might get hit on. Where do you suggest?

I'm new to the whole best friends getting married thing. Is it ok to call and say hi once in a while to her. Not like all the time, like once every few months? I know the husband too, not as well as her, but he knows me. We've done dinner before so I'm not like a total stranger. What do you all think?
