I'm taking legal assistant skills 1 and 2 at the local tech college and will have 1 year of legal background by the time I am applying at other firms. Are there any certifications recommended for me to further my career?

I have an 8 yo mare that I just got. Her last owners pasture boarded her and she was basicly just a big dog. I'm trying to get her into shape, I've been lunging her with only a little difficulty. She's a pain in the a** to ride she doesnt mind her manners at all and enjoys running me through trees. I've been riding her in just a halter with a lead line tied to each side and if I pull REALLY hard, she does what she told to do. I think fitting her with a bit would fix this. I've got a full cheecked snaffle bit, simple smooth easy. I can't get her to take it no matter what I try. She doesnt like treats. I've tried the old dig your nail into her gum trick, she just raises up. Also her last owners beat her so shes really jumpy.

My Boyfriend took me to get my belly button pierced 2 or 3 weeks ago. I haven't been taking care of it religiously, but I've been keeping it clean. The other night though I rolled over on my bed to get something off the floor and caught it on the seam of the bed sheet. Needless to say it hurt. Now it is SERIOUSLY tender, much more tender than the first few days after I got it done. It's a tiny bit pink but not really red and its not swollen or oozing or anything. Think its an infection? My piercer sid to under no circumstances use ointment, like neosporin, or alcohol on it!! What should I do to make it less tender????

My aunt is a mother of 3 boys and has 3 grandchildren. She is very quiet, conservative and sweet. I was thinking jewelry but I can't afford anything nice enough that she'd actually wear it. I am a poor college student. I need something cheap but thoughtful. Any ideas???

I have the sweetest cat but she wants to go outside and I can't let her because she likes to go to the neighbors house and scream at the top of her lungs just because shes bored. No matter what I do I can't get her quiet, she loves screaming at 5 am. In August I'm getting married and my soon-to-be has 2 cats so she won't be lonely. But we can't take her to our new apartment with the noise problem but I really don't want to leave her. Any ideas on how to keep her quiet while I'm at work?
