I am interested in history and world religions. I do not practice any one religion, but I like to investigate religions and religious paths. I like experiential spirituality.

  • Is this Jehovah W going to get what he wanted?

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2011/nov/25...

He wanted to save her by making sure she would get resurrected in the New System. Was he doing her a favor in God's eyes according to JWs?

  • Who's that knocking at your door, Jehovahs Witness rapists?

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2063439/Ch...

Now tell me again why we should not require background checks and registration of door to door preachers?

  • Who told Jehovahs Ws that the Governing Body of the Watchtower?

..is the Faithful and Discreet Slave that deserves their obedience?

I mean, if the Faithful and Discreet Slave tells you that they are the faithful and discreet slave, well, that's pretty obvious that they would appoint THEMSELVES this honored position. But shouldn't there be confirmation from an outside source that the Governing Body / Annointed Remnant is the Faithful and Discreet Slave?

  • Would a Jehovahs W tell a person at the door they are mentally diseased?

I know they say it behind their backs, but do any of them have the guts to say it to people's faces? Or do they spring it on them later how mentally diseased they are

    2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years ago
  • Poll: Would you rather be a Jehovahs Witness, or a "mentally diseased" non JW?

Since JWs believe we're ALL mentally diseased basically, I'm wondering if being a Jehovah's Witness is the standard for mental health, would you rather be a Jehovah's Witness or one of the MENTALLY Diseased "apostates, ex-JWs or Christians" that JWs think are filthy crazy people.

Maybe it's time us mentally diseased non-JWs wear our filthy insanity as a badge of honor!!!! (If being a Jehovah's Witness is the alternative.)

  • Exactly who is it that Jehovahs Ws say is mentally diseased in July 15, WT?

Is anybody who was a JW but has come to believe in another religion automatically "mentally diseased?" What about people who have never been a JW but who are highly critical of the Watchtower Corporation? are they (we) also mentally diseased?

  • Which came first, the Jehovahs W propaganda against blood transfusion efficacy, or their desperate?

need to have blood transfusions be NOT effectrive? It seems that JWs have gathered quite a number of quack physicians who have made negative statements about blood transfusions. But the problem is that they only started making medical arguments AFTER their RELIGIOUS belief was formed. Therefore everything a JW says about blood transfusions is BIASED. Therefore, we should not take them seriously when they speak on medical issues. This is a classic case of CONFLICT OF INTEREST. Their medical opinions arose out of necessity, not truth. That is why the article Jehovah's Witnesses, Blood Transfusions and the Tort of Misrepresentation by Louderback-Wood in the Journal of Church and State, established the way for future law suits against the Watchtower Societty since they have been found guilty in Tort law of misrepresenting medical facts for the propagating of their own particular theology. They lied in other words.

  • Do Jehovahs Ws imagine God gets really angry every time someone's life is saved by a blood transfusion?

Is he like, "No no no! Man can't you read?/? I said abstain! Absrtain! Oh please abstain! I can't stand it when you don't abstain! You should be dumping it out on the ground!! No no no. Not in the toilet! Did I say dump it5 in the toilet?? No, yes, right over there on the ground. Yes, no, anywhere is fine. Just go ahead,, wait, did you say on the shelf? i know I said anywhere, but I meant anywhere on the GROUND! So yeah, no not on the floor you'll make a mess! Think Think about what you are doing! Well of course you can grab the bag of blood to dump it out! How else are you going to get it on the ground? I know I said abstain ir stay away from it, but I thought it was pretty clear that you'd have to handle it some to get it on the ground... Well I don't care what Tommy next door is doing. I'm here right now telling you, grab the bag of blood and dump it on the ground. are we clear? On the grass is fine. No, no that doesn't make the grass eat the blood. Well it does eat the blood, but grass is allowed to eat the blood cuz grass is on t2he ground. Geeze Billy, you are really cheesing me off right now!..."

  • Do Jehovahs Ws imagine God gets angry every time someone celebrates a birthday?

Is he really, really disappointed in individuals who celebrate birthdays? Does he get really jealous and think, "That should be MY birthday! No no no! Pay attention to ME. It's all about me me me!" and stamp his foot like a baby?

  • Since Jehovahs Ws walk out of movies that portray sex and violence, would they walk out on a movie portraying?

a blood transfusion? After all, if taking a blood transfusion is just a filthy gross sin that angers God Sooo much when us filthy sinners do it, that he would rather us die than to commit that horrible horrible sin, then certainly as Christians, we would not even want to view this sin taking place, especially in the form of entertainment.

  • Why do Jehovahs Ws need to die to show respect for blood which symbolizes life?

Isn't that honoring DEATH above life? Isn't that honoring BLOOD above LIFE?

    8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years ago
  • Is death Preferable to fornication for Jehovahs Witnesses?

Obviously I am asking this question in the context of my other questions which aim to pinpoint exactly where "blood transfusions " exist on the scale of how serious a sin is.

Most people would rather their teen age daughtwer, for example, has sex out of wed lock than to have her die. I think even a JW would rather their loved ones fornicate to their heart's content than to die.

Yet, the sin of taking a blood transfusion is SO BAD, that death itself is preferable to taking a blood transfusion.

In fact, most people would rather their wives commit adultery a million times than to see the wife they love die. I know I would rather my wife live as an adulterer than to die. What about JWs? how do you feel about it?

  • Why Is Jehovah W Butch Mindy seething with anger?

I just love her subtle threats. I am so glad she is on Yahoo Answers. I dedicate this song to her:When eyes of blind ones see again, when ears of deaf ones hear again, when deserts blossom as the rose, and from parched ground fresh water flows, then too you'll see the dead arise, If you keep your eyes on the prize.

    Take it away Butch Mindy:

"I see that rather than heeding the advice of what I personally emailed you in response to the rambling rant of the email you sent me (remember, I told you I keep records of my emails), you have decided to choose the course of the "STUPID ONES" (as in Psalm 94:8) and actually post your nonsense dribble here on Yahoo Answers anyway.

No matter, as I stated to you in my email, I am more than happy to EXPOSE your rant filled misguided bias for the lunacy it truly is and I now that you won't mind as it is beyond obvious by now to MANY that you for some unknown reason actually enjoy being exposed as not knowing what you're talking about.

The information within the following link shows DIRECT EVIDENCE from the United Nations itself showing that these absurd accusations made by yourself and those like minded as you are just outright plain wrong. The information will also demonstrate how accusers such as yourself use DELIBERATELY MISLEADING so called "evidence" and make many mistakes. Furthermore, it also points out how one of the most prominent promoters of this absurd conspiracy theory on the Internet KNOWS FULL WELL that the claims are erroneous but nonetheless has tried to silence his critics and cover-up the evidence:

    http://bit.ly/5a246i

I tried to warn you for your own good but YOU didn't want to listen. It's not my intention to make you look like a ranting lunatic, you're doing that very well on your own. I simply tried to spare you any further embarrassment of MORE people actually discovering for themselves just how misguided you actually are. You decided to post this nonsense anyway, and as one of JEHOVAH'S Witnesses it is my dedicated duty to defend the Truth by exposing the lie.

I have the email you sent me and will post it if you wish to deny any of what I have stated herein regarding you. I hope that THAT doesn't have to happen and you will simply cease and desist from either emailing me with rambling rants or posting things of which you obviously have absolutely no clue of.

Stop being a PARROT by simply REPEATING everything you hear that is negative about Jehovah's Witnesses without having FULLY investigated the evidence unbiasedly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nP6ccHmiZ%E2%80%A6

    Until your next post...

    Ciao ;-)

    *** EDIT @ the asker:

Awesome, I see I didn't have to wait too long as you have AGAIN chosen to email me not only with your nonsense but also in alerting me this time to the fact that you ARE a dedicated and baptized Witness of Jehovah who has DISASSOCIATED himself from the Christian congregation and is NOW an APOSTATE. I thank you dude, because NOW you're going straight to my BLOCKED list and I will no longer respond to ANY of your emails or postings. When you decide to do things according to JEHOVAH'S Ways and JEHOVAH'S Paths as foretold would be the case among His true people in the final part of the last days at Micah 4:1, 2 and are in good standing with the Christian congregation, feel free to drop me a line.

Until then... Adios amigo (http://bit.ly/nKeCBf )

    :-)

  • Why are Jehovah's Witnesses so agressive and mean, but Christians teach with love?

Since I have had the exact opposite experience with JWs vs. Christians, I thought it only fair that I ask the opposite question.

I have found great love and compassion among Christians of all sorts. I have experienced none of the hateful legalism and Pharisaical punishment-oriented tactics used by JWs in Christian churches.
