  • Itunes deleted my playlists now I don't have recently added, played, etc.?

So I was having some trouble with my laptop, it's all good now however for some reason Itunes deleted all my playlists but left my music intact. I only had a few playlists that I made, so I'm not worried about those, but now my "recently added", "recently played", "top 25 most played", etc are all gone. How do I get them back?

  • How do you spell this last name?

I need to sue my old boss because he never paid me for my work. Problem is, I don't know how to spell his last name. Don't really know how its pronounced, either. It's probably polish, starts with "TW" has at least 5 letters in the middle, and ends with "SKI". Any ideas?

  • Why must you jump through so many hoops to adopt a child?

I don't understand why anyone can't just adopt a child when any woman can get pregnant and give birth with no questions whatsoever. Why must you pass intensive background checks, interviews, personal questions, etc, when there are thousands of children without homes. It makes no sense. Yet a crack fiend can get pregnant while living on welfare and nothing can be done to stop her from being a parent. Why is our country so messed up?

  • Do guys really care about what other guys have?

Okay, so I am gay, but a little new to the whole scene. Recently came out, moved to California, so there are many things that I'm not used to or just don't have answers for. Anyway, I know straight guys think the more expensive things they own the more girls will like them, etc. But how does it work for gay guys (on an average)? Keep in mind I really don't fit in with the stereotypical gay male, but still I wonder about this stuff. I keep my appearance all right, although I don't buy expensive clothes, I am a bit overweight but not huge, I drive a POS truck but that's only temporary, I like to be social but I'm shy at first, anyway what I'm trying to ask is what can I do to improve myself not so much that I'm a completely different person but just so I can get past that first step of meeting a guy. Any advice will help.

  • Car stereo not getting power?

I have an '89 Silverado. Yesterday I tried to install my sony headunit that I've had in at least 4 other cars. I used a wiring harness connector. Plugged it in, wouldn't turn on. I double checked my wiring, found no problem, radio fuse is good, so I decided to deal with it later and plug my factory radio back in for the time being. Did that, and it wouldn't turn on either. But it has always worked fine before. But it has to be getting power, since the button lights turn on when I turn on the headlights. This makes no sense.

  • What is wrong with my mother?

So I'm 300 miles away from home, at school. My parents are going into a divorce, but they are both living at home, sleeping in the same bed even. My dad called me last week to tell me he was going into minor surgery today. Well he had a reaction after it was performed and his throat and tongue swelled up and he stopped breathing for a short period. They performed a (where they stick a tube in your throat so you can breathe), and the swelling went away after a few minutes. The hospital called my sister up, and she went to the hospital to see my dad. When she got back home, my mom wondered where she had been, and when my sister told her that she was at the hospital, my mom asked why. She had absolutely forgotten that my dad was going into surgery today. How ****** up is that?? I don't care if you're getting divorced, that is no excuse to forget that your husband is having surgery. I haven't been home in months, and even I remembered.

  • What are some **original** christmas songs?

I want to listen to some christmas music, but I get so tired of all the different remakes of the same 10 christmas songs. What are some songs that are good, original, and aren't classical or of that style.

  • cooking filets from frozen?

So this meat delivery guy came by my place today trying to unload some overstock he had. I bought ten filet mignon off of him, prefrozen. He told me to cook them from frozen, that it would be worth it? Never heard of this before. Also, I have no grill, just a cast iron pan and an electric oven. So what's the best way to cook these steaks?

  • How many of you use(d) recreational drugs in the past?

I'm talking recreationally here, not any addictions or anything like that. Just every now and again. What did you take, how old were you, when did you stop, etc. Just curious is all.

  • Who else hates "metrosexual"?

When people use this, I get pissed off. There is nothing sexual at all about so called metrosexual people. Actually, there's nothing "metro" at all either, since metro means having to do with a city. Seriously, are we going to start adding them to GLBT? GLBTM? Why? All they are are straight guys who care about the way they look. This is nothing special.

  • Can Yahoo Answers get stickies?

Every other forum in the world has stickies, threads that are saved at the top of the screen with reoccurring questions posted there. If any of you frequent any particular section on this site, you'll know that the same questions get asked 50+ times a day. And there's always the same answers. So why not make some stickies so people can read them first and see if it will answer their question or not? And no, the search function will not suffice, it's not that great and many people are too lazy to use it.

  • What do I need to know before spending 3 months in Sacramento?

In January, I'll be packing up my van and driving out to Sacramento. I'll be there till the end of march. I want to know everything about the city, good and bad. Keep in mind I live in Pennsylvania, from New Jersey, and I've never been as far west as Ohio in my life. What should I expect? 20 y.o. male btw.

  • Who loves Faith No More?

They're one of my favorite bands, I love all their songs. I always like music that's a bit different then everything else, with it's own style. Plus they've been around forever, so they got a bunch of different albums.

Bonus: Who can recommend me some bands I might not have heard of before? It's a tough challenge.

  • Question for gay guys?

I'm sure you all look at guys in public and think "damn, he has a great body". I know I do. But have you ever found yourself looking at a girl and thinking the same thing? I do this sometimes, it doesn't bother me, I still know I'm gay, but I can always appreciate a nice body. What do you think?

  • What do drink when I've had enough water for the day?

I usually drink water during the day time, since I'm in school nonstop from 7-4 each day, and Mtn Dew is breaking the bank, but I really just get sick of drinking water all the time. And I'm trying to stop with the sugary drinks, I have some koolaid in the fridge and that will be the last of it for a while. Keep in mind I'm on a budget and I go to school in a redneck town, no Whole Foods around here, just Walmart.

  • What can I make for lunch that's quick, cheap, and healthy?

So I'm trying to eat better and step away from the McDonalds and such, but it's not all that easy when your grocery budget is $40 a week (student who's savings are gone). I've been eating oatmeal or grits for breakfast, and salmon with rice for dinner, and I've been doing pretty well, but I can't find anything to have for lunch every day. Keep in mind that I only have about 25 minutes each day to prepare and eat my food, so if anything needs to be cooked, it needs to be done fast. And I can't eat a salad or anything of that nature, my stomach will have imploded by 4:00 from lack of substance.

  • What's with this screaming music?

Since starting school in april in a town outside Pittsburgh, I've noticed that the area has their own distinctive form of music, if you can call it that. It's pretty much a guitarist and a drummer (who are mediocre at best), and a guy who screams. I mean, there are no lyrics at all, he just screams and people like it. WTF? What is the point to all this? Does everyone who goes see these guys play want to kill themselves, or do they actually enjoy seeing people who hate the world and everything in it express their anger? Keep in mind, I listen to almost every kind of music, I love hard rock, but this is too much.

  • Tarot cards... what is the point?

So it is my understanding that when you read tarot cards, you pick a few and try to figure out what they mean in your life. But it is only one deck of cards, there is only a certain number of them, and they don't change. There is a statistical chance of when each card will show up. So what is the point... really? I know there's someone here who believes in this stuff, so maybe you can fill me in.

  • What's the best way to season a cast iron pan?

So I cook with a cast iron pan almost all the time, and it usually works great, but every once and a while I'll cook something that won't come off easily, and I have to scrub it under hot water. And by that time, the seasoning is gone. I season it with canola oil in the oven at 300. Anyone got a better way?
