  • How or if I should end a friendship?

I have a friend who is an extremely private person. She shares a lot with me about herself but especially lately, she has been withholding information. She says she's dating a much younger guy-- more than 10 years her younger, I think. She doesn't want to be judged about it so she doesn't talk about it at all. She says she likes being "free". I told her I don't really care how old the other person is or if that's what she wants to do (as long as they are 18+). I would love it if she simply introduced him or talked about it-- but because she purposely hides her relationship I don't feel like she is a good friend. It feels like she is hiding too much. She is currently unemployed (quit a job she didn't like and is in search of a new one). She complains about things being "hard" for her and not "easy" like it is for other people. I disagree with a lot of these things: you shouldn't quit a job unless you have another except maybe in rare circumstances), there's something wrong with dating a guy THAT much younger than you, AND hiding it. We hung out for a while a week ago but since then I called and left a message once and when she called me back she said "You called me so I'm returning your call" and that's it.

Should I be a little confrontational (for example, leave a message saying I feel we have drifted apart as friends and that her unwillingness to be open and honest leaves me feeling like we're not friends)

    or

Should I just let the entire friendship go, not call her, etc.

  • Anyone know of hotels in the USA with childcare (baby will be 14 months old). Looking for a vacation spot.?

I think Disney has in-room or in-park childcare for $16 an hour (minimum of 4 hours). Anyone know of any other options? East coast is preferable, but any ideas are welcome.

  • The Japanese cook great Chinese food... question about that.?

All over Japan I used to go to Chinese restaurants and order Shrimp with Chili Sauce. It was DELICIOUS. I'm in the USA now and nobody makes it. Does anybody have any idea if anybody in the USA makes it, or if there is a recipe for it anywhere?

  • what cable should I hook up to my new HD monitor on my computer?

The monitor has hook-ups for 4 different cable types. I currently have a VGA cable plugged in. It also takes HDMI, Component, or HVI. Which type of cable would be best to use to get the most out of it?

  • We have lived in our home for almost 3 years. All the sudden there is a Home Owner's Association and a fee.

We looked at our contract from when we bought the house and we did not see anything saying there is a Homeowner's association. We have never received any information about it, and suddenly the president/treasurer of the home owner's, who apparently owns the land surrounding our subdivision, is going to build some more properties. So he wants everyone else to pay a fee so this will help him sell these properties. What if we don't pay it? How do we know whether or not it is legal for him to ask us for payment? No one has ever paid a Homeowner's fee that I know of. Even if it is legal and we have to cough up the money every year, we don't like the principal of it or the "surprise" in order to help him sell more properties.. Thanks.

  • I'm a teacher. I found a job in another school district but my current oen would not accept my resignation.

The other district is giving me 2 weeks to get out of my contract with my current district. I let my district know that I only have two weeks. Can my district hire after the 2 weeks and accept the resignation that I wrote, without consulting with me first? They said they would let me out of my contract if they could hire. Now I'm worried that I'll be the one getting screwed over.

  • I'm staying at the Mirage in Las Vegas w/my husband. They say the fitness center fee is $20/day per person.

Does anyone have any suggestions!? We don't want to pay $40 bucks a day for it. Our gym isn't out there and I'm looking for suggestions.

  • I'm going to get a bikini wax. I'm worried that my hair isn't long enough "outside" the bikini line?

I'm not worried about how far "inside" the line they will go, but not sure whether or not I shaved too close to the line to get waxed.

  • How long until zoloft is out of my system/side effects go away?

I took 1/2 of a 25 mg. pill of the zoloft generic. I may have had a seizure/fainting, also had bad diahrrea, was constantly shaking, couldn't sleep and was extremely tired with dry mouth and nausea. Basically I had most of the side effects listed overnight. Now I still feel "out of it" a little shaken up and flu-like. Will this happen again tonite?! I'm so worried, help!
