I just had a tournament in Boston and it made me think of why the NHL players don't take like a week off during the season and have 4 or 5 tournaments across North America. 82 games in a row without getting anything but a chance to get to the playoffs seems a little harsh and sometimes boring. It would give the players a chance to feel like they did in the olden days and have some fun without it being so serious and intense. It would almost be like the NCAA Football equivalent of all the different bowls around New Year's except there would be more then two teams in it.

I was given a CD for it and i'm not sure whether to try to look at it on my own computer or give it to the doctor. They didn't really say...

Here's mine in order:

1. Nicklas Lidstrom - Most points, best +/-, and just a hell of a defenseman.

2. Dion Phaneuf - 5th in points, tied for second in goals, decent +/-, and arguably one of the best body checkers in the league.

3. Sergei Gonchar- 2nd in points, okay +/-, and carries pittsburgh's D

4. Brian Rafalski - 4th in points, high +/- (how could you not be on Detroit) low PIM, and a solid defenseman.

As a defenseman, it always pissed me off that forwards didn't get much of the blame when there was a big loss. In most of the goals scored against, a back checker should have picked up a trailer to make it a 1 on 1. Not to mention, if a forward loses the puck in the offensive zone, its not too big of a deal. A bad give away in the defensive zone has much worse consequences. I will admit, however, that forwards have to skate much more than the defense. In your opinion, which position is hardest to play because of how much energy and effort you have to give and how much blame you can take when a game doesn't go your way.

They have 3 new lines of gloves including The Franchise, Fubar, and HayMaker, two new sticks called the Johnson (what a name for a stick lol) and the Syko, and three pairs of pants. I also know you can customize the gloves to whatever colors you want but it is very pricey. The only site i've seen them available to preorder is at greatskate.com. They come out in April I believe. It is a coach getting interviewed about not winning the game and he lists all of these reasons that mean the same thing such as: we couldn't put the biscuit in the oven, couldn't put the cat in the hat.

It has been bothering me for a while, and its in that one commercial on the NHL Network with Miller, Ovechkin, Staal, and Lecavalier. What is different about the way he does it? It only shows a pic after and i can't tell. Anyone know?

I have the "fused" one piece dolomite nipple grip. It is 85 flex and a Draper curve. The blade is cracked in two places. It hasnt broken yet, but i dont want it breaking during an important game. From what i know, the Dolomite is actually two pieces. Is it possible to take out the blade and put in a new one with a different curve?

let's just say for example, Toronto and Montreal, would you rather see your team blow out the other team, or have a hard fought and acion packed game in which your team ends up coming out on top???

lol. jk. he does know his stuff though. Do you think Warrior hockey will come out with a goalie stick anytime soon? it just seems that it would make sense for them to expand to meet all players needs. Plus, they make some good sticks so people would be willling to buy them

I'm probably not willing to pay over 300 without tax (U.S. dollars) I have always been a fan of Bauer. My foot feels like it belongs in it and not awkward. Tell me if you have any bad experiences with any skates or what to buy for the quality

I live in Buffalo and it will most likely not be 32 degrees or lower. Especially on New Year's Day in the Day. Would they reschedule it or just get some special system to keep the ice cold?

Obviously, if you are a player that loves to hit, fight, etc. then being strong can be a big advantage. And being fast can make it easier to posess the puck, go around your oppenents. I think the thing that matters most is agility and endurance. What matters most and why?

I want to get in good shape for hockey season. I am already in great shape and play at the highest level, but i still want to be better. What would be the best to do this. Weights? I already have a treadmill, and i rollerblade a lot, and i bike a lot, but i can do much more. What should i get?
