I know as of Febuary 14th, they announced that they have this new inflight entertainment system, but does that mean that they have it now or are in the process of installing it.

I ask because I know that the current entertainment system is the cable television channels, and while that's nice and all, I don't think it will hold my interest for the 6 hour flight I'm on tomorrow. Hence the idea of bringing a laptop and watch a movie on it or something.

There are some rather mixed interpretations about what people look for in a dojo these days, so I was wondering, what do other experienced martial artists like yourselves on yahoo answers think?

Some people would look for time schedule, cost and how fast you increase your rank while others would look for quality of teaching, effectiveness of applications and really, how much you are getting out of it.

I do karate and I am looking to purchase a punching bag or something that I can practice my puches and kicks at my house.

So I came across the Century Bob punching bag, it is supposedly adjustable in height (which would be great for practicing against different sized opponents, and since it is molded like a human it would great for targeting.

Now my only predicament is that I can find almost nowhere that I can get it for a reasonable price in Canada. I checked on Amazon.com and there are tons of people listing them, but on Amazon.ca there is absolutely nothing. I mean you could always go to your local Sporcheck, but I don't exactly want to blow $400 on one.

So my question is if anybody knows where I could buy one for a reasonable price and is it even worth it?

At school I try to tell people about the karate that I do, but most people just laugh and make some comment about how martial arts are "gay". Then they'll walk around like they are so tough and that they can kick everybody's ***. I mean, at karate, I am taught modesty, and to not use it in a offensive manor outside of class, but I really just want to knock some sense into these guys.

Some other guys that do martial arts try to tell me that karate is bad and that I should do jiu jitsu or some other martial arts that they do. Seriously??? I have respect for everybody that does martial arts, but why doesn't anybody have any for me?
