This year my family is doing Secret Santa and I picked my Dad. The price range is between $80-$100.

My dad enjoys traveling, golfing, reading and going out to see shows.

He already recieves tickets for local shows as he bought a package deal in the summer. And he enjoys golfing occasionally, but not enough for a membership as he travels so much. He enjoys non-fiction novels on History/Politics. I would like the gift to be unique...I'm just having trouble thinking of ideas

Any helpful ideas would be great!

I am doing somethine different for my family this year. I am getting each couple a gift based around a theme. My sister and her finance enjoy tv shows, games, movies...entertainment type stuff. So i want to get unique gifts around entertainment theme. Does anyone have any cool gifts i could get? Any ideas would be helpful!

So I have been re watching the seasons of How I Met Your Mother and have some theories as to how the series will end. I was wondering what some of you predict will happen? I just want this show to be over with because it is starting to become repetitive. Thoughts anyone? Thanks

I have been friends with this girl for about 2 years now. We were really close at work, but its been about a year since I have been working there and I hardly see her now. She recently got a new bf (who i dont really like, and she does not know) When we do hang out I find all she talks about is herself and him...one of those self centered type person. I find I have out growed her and i really dont want that type of person in my life anymore. I guess my question would be what is the best way of dealing with this? I am currently just fading her out..but i feel i should owe her some sort of explanation right? Any advice would help thanks!

I currently have a 1 1/2 year old male cat who is declawed (huge mistake I know will never do it again) and neutered and i am interested in getting another male cat. My only question is..should i look into getting another cat who is already declawed from the humane society or will it not matter. I do want to get a younger cat, preferably male. i am just afraid the younger cat will hurt the other cat as he will not have much of a defense when they are playing...any advice would be helpful. Thank you I do not need lectures about declawing cats...just need some advice on how another cat would get along with my current cat.

I have a cat (little over a year old now) and he always meows randomly. I sometimes think its because he wants something but he has food, water, and lots of toys to play with. He is mainly vocal once he wakes up from a nap and especially at night when I am trying to sleep. I have googled it and it said some cats are just vocal and sociable. But I find sometimes when he meows he is asking for something and I never know what he wants. His meows do not sound like he is in pain...its like a whinning, play with me give me attention type of meow. I am just wondering if he really is just very vocal and talkative or if it is something else?

I am 23 years old and have been with my boyfriend for 4 years now. We were both our firsts and sex was great at the beginning of our relationship and now i have absolutly no sex drive....not even to go solo! I lost my mother to cancer 3 years ago...about the time my sex life started to go down. I am currently in therapy dealing with this and other self-esteem issues. Therapy has helped me quite a bit but for some reason I feel this could maybe be more of a health issue? I have changed my birth control twice thinking that could be the cause...and I also tell myself its my weight gain and lack of motivation. Can anyone give me some advice? or some reasons why I have lack of sex drive? I am soo young and shouldn't feel this way.

I am currently trying to lose weight due to some recent health concerns (gallstones) and am really trying the typical eating healthy and exercises but I have absolutely no motivation. I know eating isn't an issue for me at the moment cuz I have started to eat a lot better and I love my veggies. I haven't had an attack of gallstones since January. I am just looking for some advice and some suggestions in regards to exercises

I'm playing Sims 3 pets and I have a dog...this weird Gnome keeps appearing its like a minature dog with a red hat and blue shirt with a huge smile. Also, I played today and another weird one appeared. It was a pink rabbit? or looked like a pink rabbit. Why do they keep appearing?

I have been having really bad cramps for the past week and I have not had my period this month but i've never really had a proper period in awhile. There is no way I am pregnant. I am just wondering if these cramps can be due to something else? It feels a bit like build up of gas, and the cramps are right where i normally get cramps when i'm on my period but i've never had the pain this bad before. I've tried to release some pressure and nothing...has this happened to anyone before?

I am a first time cat owner and my boyfriend and I decided to get our kitten declawed due to constant scratching and clawing furniture. We didn't realize it was such a huge procedure...we now have him back home and looking up online and realized how awful it is. We know we can't go back in time...but maybe it will help use ease if we heard some positives of declawing a kitten? He seems to be doing fine and not bothered by it...any positive tips?

I am currently looking for a new series or new author to read. I love reading mystery/supernatural type novels as well as thriller novels. Not sure if anyone can suggest some novels? I recently read Dismantled by Jennifer Mcmahon and loved it. Bought and read all her other books but need something new to read until she comes out with another one. Any suggestions to books similar to that?

I was just wondering if anyone has read the books? I read Don of the dead the 1st book of the series and I cannot find the 2-6th ones anywhere....I just bought the 7th novel A hard day's fright and wondered if i can still read it without reading the last 5 books of the series? Does it have to be read in any paticular order?
