Will I pass my medical test for my Z visa in China if I have an under active thyroid?
I have just been diagnosed with an under active thyroid and am moving to China next week.
It's not a serious condition, just a lack of certain hormones and I have to take a tablet every day. Will I pass my medical check in China to get my Z visa?
Are they very strict with medical conditions or will it be ok if you have one that's not serious?
I'm not going to be turned away and denied my working visa am I? I'm getting so worried!
Thanks!
1 AnswerChina9 years agoCan you buy Levothyroxine without a prescription in China?
I'm moving to China and have just been diagnosed with an under active thyroid. Is is easy to get this in China? Will I have to go to a doctor or can I buy this medicine from a chemist?
I will also have to get a medical check when I enter China to get my Z (working) visa, will this condition stop me from passing the medical? It's not a serious condition and can be treated easily with daily medication so I don't think it should be a problem.
Thank you.

I am moving to China and I'm wondering if I will be able to access my UK bank account online?
I know you need a VPN to get around the firewall but I'm wondering if it's even possible to get onto your bank's website? For example, I know BBC iPlayer doesn't work in other countries but I will need to access my bank account information!
9 AnswersChina9 years agoDoes this look like Shill Bidding on eBay?
I'm a bit suspicious of this seller as the item I was watching was bid on with about 30 minutes to go by someone with only 3 feeback.
Was he shill bidding or was the ''person'' that bid just not a regular eBayer?
30-Day Summary
Total bids: 1
Items bid on: 1
Bid activity (%) with this seller: 100% Help

1 AnswerOther - Internet9 years agoCan I claim back a tax rebate from 2009/10 (UK)?
I have an uncashed cheque from the financial year 2009/10 but it expired 8 months ago. Can I write to HM Revenue and Customs to get sent a new cheque? Would I have to include the original cheque and my P45 (note: my P45 doesn't have any info on it from that year for some reason..)?
Also I will be due another rebate at the end of this financial year but I'm moving abroad in June. Is there any way I can apply to get this in April/May?
Thanks (all this tax stuff boggles my mind!)

I am moving to China and was thrilled to see Topshop deliver there (I will never fit into Chinese sizes!)
I've heard international deliveries aren't always very reliable there, has anyone ever successfully ordered from Topshop online?
Thanks!

2 AnswersTeaching10 years agoStrange words going across my TV?
Recently when I've been watching TV every now and then words go across the screen. It looks like the news headlines that go across the bottom of the screen on the news channel, but they are very very faint and only appear for a few seconds so it's hard to read what they say.
Has anyone else had problems with this? I have no idea what it is! It's like subliminal messages or something! Or is my TV broke?! (I only got it last year)

Me and my friends are planning to go to Malta in summer and want an area where there are sandy beaches (I've heard in some places there are only rocky ones...)
Also we would like some good nightlife as well as some cultural Maltese things to do in the day.
So basically we want a bit of everything haha!
Any suggestions where would be best?

5 AnswersRadio1 decade agoHelp with Ryanair please?
Ok so im booking a return flight to Riga. But I also want to book a flight for my friend who is leaving on the same day as me but coming home earlier.
It costs an extra £20 to book with your card online, is there anyway I can book them together so I only have to pay £20 once as opposed to twice??
It doesn't seem to give me the option to add another set of flights once I've done mine..

6 AnswersHair1 decade agoIs it ok for dogs to foul in shared gardens?
We're looking after 2 small sausages dogs for two weeks and live in a flat with a shared back garden.
They go to the toilet twice a day there and we pick it up straight away.
Are we allowed to do this because our neighbour has complained about it and says it's not allowed there even though it doesn't say anywhere that we can't?
They said that environmental health will be called!
Help! The park round the corner says no dog fouling and i presume they aren't supposed to do it in the street, so where do they go!?
4 AnswersDogs1 decade agoHow do I get past the Safe Mode/Start Windows Normally screen?
I have an Acer Aspire One with Windows XP and when I turn it on a black screen comes up saying "We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully" Then it gives me a list of options:
Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Last Known Good Configuration
Start Windows Normally
When I choose any of these commands, Windows attempts to start, however after about 10 seconds, the same screen reappears.
Some people have said to do a 'repair install' with the XP start-up/recovery disk or something... however my computer doesn't have a CD drive so I don't have a disk.
What else can I do?
Thanks
