I'm going to be getting into IT soon and currently earning a degree. But I was thinking a certification or two won't hurt my resume while in college. I know some of the higher level certs are more tough. But would the A+ and Network+ very difficult?

Some feminists think the message sent by Disney towards young girls is harmful. They say the message is that it sets goals and expectations that are not obtainable in the real world and that it teaches girls to be dependent on a man or relying on a man for their happiness.

Right now i have a bachelors in arts degree. And I was considering a career change that really doesnt have any focus at all to the degree i have. And my options are to get a 2nd bachelors degree or try to get a masters degree.

Im thinking about getting a 2nd bachelor's degree, use that to gain a little work experience in that field, and then go to a masters. Im thinking this would be better than going straight into the masters program right now right off the bat.

Would going that route (getting a 2nd bachelors and some experience) increase my chances of being accepted in a masters program? Or do schools not really care about that? My issue right now is I've been out of school for about 5-6 years so the GRE might be more difficult right now, my letters of recs would mainly be professionals outside the field, and my resume isn't in the field, etc..(although my overall GPA is pretty good at 3.6) So i dont think a masters application would be very attractive at this point.

I was watching the show COPS just recently...and they arrested this transgender person and so I wondered how the system handles transgendered people? What prison do they go to? etc...

I guess even in a lesbian relationship, one of them has to be the man.

Couldn't Glinda have done that right from the start? Why would she tell Dorothy that she would have to see the Wizard in order to get back home if Glinda had the power to do it all along?

Saw in an article that was comparing the challenges each gender has, and one of the things for women is it saying that they have to live in constant fear of being raped.

Is that true?

It seems to me most girls these days are very materialistic, feel entitled, high maintenance, and want to be coddled. And they expect this stuff to be all provided for them.

It seems to fly in the face of what their mothers and grandmothers fought for during the feminist movements. They were all complaining about women not having equality and usually having to depend on their husbands to survive. And yet, you find a lot of women today that still want that. They want to depend on men.

Im not saying all women, but most dont seem to be very independent. Maybe it's just mother nature.

Every writer probably has different methods. But is it better to roughly plan a story out beforehand (like an outline of ideas) before starting to actually write it? Or is it better to start writing and let ideas flow that way?

First off, I do have some social anxiety. A feel a bit awkward at times in social situations. It's how I've always been.

Right now I have a job that I excel in and it's become a bit of a comfort zone. The work is predictable, easy, and don't have to interact much with other people. But the job isn't where I want to be forever. And it doesn't pay very well. There is a few job opportunities that I am qualified for that would be a better track and give some more money. But I can't seem to bring myself to apply to it. I keep thinking about negatives of what could happen if I fail.

In other words, Im afraid of leaving the stable comfort zone for something that might not pan out. I guess I'd have more confidence if it was a better job market. Im a bit spooked about that too. I keep thinking maybe its best to wait it out in a safe job that is not likely to be eliminated than to take changes.

How do I get out of this funk?

This probably sounds like a stupid question to some people. But Im just wondering how lesbians meet and ask each other out?

Because I know that girls dont like making the first move or doing the asking.
