We were on our way home yesterday from a day out when a speeding camera flashed on the opposite side of the road. There was a van that had just passed the camera but my partner was doing more then the speed limit also. Can a camera flash us on the opposite side of the road? He all ready has 9 points. 6 points he got 9 years ago and he had 3 point 3 years ago. If he gets another 3 will he get a ban? and how long for.

Am I old fashioned.

I'm 43 and think the 1950' music was the best ever. They had the best voises and the songs told a story. I was listening to some of the stuff my kids listen to on the internet the other day and they were swearing like crazy. They always seem to repeat the same lines over and over. There is no story to it. They say i'm old fasioned. The thing is if ever there friends are round and there is an old song played to an advert my kids know all the words and their friends look at them in astonishment as if they were mad but then my kids look proud about the fact that they actualy know the words and that's only down to me. I think the 50's and 60's had the best music but that's just my veiw. Does any one else love that time?

I have been on this site for not very long and i just wanted to say, i think there are still a lot of good people in the world. There are a lot of awfull questions on here from people suffering all kinds of dillemas all over the world. There are girls and boys men and women who give such wise crack answers hoping to score 10 points for the best answer. There are also boys and girls men and women who give such worldly advice i wonder where they get such experience from. I just wanted to say i think you are all very helpfull caring and wonderful people. I havn't prayed for years as i'm not religiouse but i am finding myself praying for people who ask me to. I expect people are only clicking onto this question because of Elvis, well even though he is dead he is still helping. I think your all great and i don't care if you think i'm a freak i really dont.

I watch the news, i read the answers on yahoo, is there other people who are just happy with the simple life.

I am not interested in cars at all i love to get the bus and talk to the old people and listen to there stories. I love the summer even if i have no money at all i just sit and feel the warmth of it. Here in the uk we don't get much of it. I love to smell my clean washing it makes me smile. When i put my old music on and i mean old like 1950's and i wasn't born in the 50's it makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. A hot piece of toast with clover butter melting on it. Sitting down at night with the fire on and watching Laurel and Hardy or Norman Wisdom and laughing my socks off. Going to sleep on my partners shoulder and it feels like the best place in the world. I'm not interested in money or anything materalistic am i a freak?

I was married for 19 years to a Capricorn he was born January, i grew to habsolutly hate him. Everything he did got under my skin, eventually we divorsed my choise. I'm am now 6 years in to my new relationship and guess what. He's a Capricorn born end of December. He has a completely different personality to my ex. My middle daughter had just turned 17 i am divorsed from her father. She lives with me an bleeds me dry constantly after money. Her dad pays me maintence for her but she spends the whole lot in less then 2 weeks. I try to get her to understand it's not just for her to waist on taxis because she dosn't like getting the bus even though i buy her bus pass £27 a month she is at college 4 days aweek. She is going on holiday this year with her friends and said i have to pay the £400 because she gets maintinence. I have told her to get a part time job which she did have at christmas but couldn't be botherd to go. If she attends college 4 days aweek she gets £30 a week she says she dont need £30. She doesn't always go to college as she can't be botherd. She says i'm always negertive with her which i agreed and said it was hard not to be negative with her when she is always negative with everything. Should i pay for everything?

I have 3 Boarder Collies and 1 female and 2 males. When i take them out they are completely obbsessed with the ball i think they think it is a sheep. That okay because it keeps there attention. The female always gets it and the younger male roundr them up nipping. The older mail who is 3 always snatches out of her mouth and runs off with it when he eventually drops it only when he is ready he wee's on it every time why?
