I dyed my hair a dark ash blonde today, but it didn't come out blonde at all. I was wondering what would happen if I dyed it again tomorrow. Has anyone dyed their hair twice within two days?

If I hide a post from a friend on Facebook and a mutual friend "likes" the post, will the friend I hid it from see that our mutual friend liked it? Will the friend I hid it from see what I posted?

Is there a polite way to tell a close friend that you don't want to be in their wedding party? I think my friends fiancé is a controlling person and I don't feel morally comfortable standing up as part of their wedding party.

I have been an atheist for my entire life. I am trying to become a Christian. I have only prayed to God twice. Both times my prayers have been answered strangely.

The first time I prayed I was 19 and I was summoned for jury duty. I prayed that I would not get picked to be on the jury, and I ended up getting picked as juror number 11. This was trivial, I know, but it's always been a weird thing to me that the first time I ever prayed it was answered the opposite than what I had asked.

The second time I prayed was last week. My family and I were headed on a 6 hour drive to my brother's wedding. I was kind of apprehensive about praying for our safety, but I decided to pray that we would have a safe trip. Three hours into our drive we got a flat tire in the middle of the freeway. We were stranded in the median for an hour in 95 degree weather. I am 7 months pregnant and I nearly fainted from the heat.

These are the only two times I've sincerely prayed and both times my prayers have been answered the opposite of what I asked. Now I am nervous about praying.

Why would this happen??

I gave my dad my old Motorola Atrix to use as an iPod touch, of sorts. He doesn't have a sim card, but I thought he'd still be able to access the Internet if wifi was around.

I did a factory reset and my sad is saying his computer won't even recognize the phone when he plugs it in.

I'm just wondering if a sim card is needed to use an old phone for games, Internet access, calendar, music, etc.

I am required to ask people for their name, address, email, and phone number when a customer purchases an item at the store. I really don't feel comfortable doing that.

Is there a way to ask that sounds less invasive? Am I wrong for feeling uncomfortable about it?

I am new to veganism and I am wondering how my fellow vegans partake in American traditions like birthday parties and holidays. Our country is centered around food. I am worried that I will come off as rude when I don't eat the food offered at parties. Is there a polite way to handle this? Also, do you need to carry vegan friendly food with you in case of non-vegan situations?

I've been feeling flu-like symptoms for about 5 days. I couldn't pinpoint what I was feeling exactly, just that I was run down, weak, and felt strange. I've also been incredibly emotional.

My dad said I was pregnant, so I took a Up & Up Target Brand pregnancy test and a very faint thin line appeared in the positive circle almost immediately. I don't have periods because I have an IUD, so I can't gauge it off of that. I took a second test a few hours later and it came out negative.

I am getting so excited, but I am afraid this Target test is faulty.

Any experience with it?

I am a 24 year old woman. 5'2", 125lbs. I want to start building muscle and I am wondering what weight of dumbbell is an appropriate weight for me to start with? I have been reading that 12 repetitions with a heavier weight is better for building muscles than many repetitions with a lighter weight.

Any suggestions would be incredibly helpful.
