I had an upgrade to Firefox some time ago and now none of my Microsoft Office programs work. When I select one of them, it get a pop up that says "Preparing to lnstall" and then another pop up states "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable".

I can't un-install the program because it tells me the file is corrupted & to re-install using the original source. I still have my installer disk, but can't re-install either! What to do, what to do??

Just moved into a new house; the stove top is the induction type and works just fine. The push button controls (clock/timer/temp setting) for the oven won't come on at all and the oven doesn't get hot. I have a warranty but any suggestions on how to fix?

I have an 04 Ion. I have been having issues with it locking & unlocking properly. When I used my fob today to unlock the car, it didn't unlock. I tried putting the key in the driver's side-it didn't unlock. I went around to the front passenger's side & inserted to key to manually unlock it, got in the car & unlocked the driver's side. When I got to my destination and got out of the car, I clicked the fob to lock it and looked inside & noticed the driver's side wasn't locked. So again the front passenger's side to manually lock the driver's side...I'm afraid I won't be able to get into the car at all one day. I have already gotten my car repaired for the recent ignition switch recall. I still have issues getting the key out of the ignition. I'm sure I'm just going to have to get rid of the car soon but won't be able to afford it for some time. Any suggestions?

I have a Saturn Ion and have received notices about a faulty ignition switch that needs to be repaired. Along with the notice there is a Customer Reimbursement form the dealership has to fill out. Am I understanding that I have to pay for this repair myself and submit paperwork to be reimbursed? If so what are the possibilities of this actually happening?

My drivers' side wiper is broken. It still works but they streak across the glass and even get stuck off of the edge of the glass if I have them on continuously. I live in TX and have been to a few repair shops to get a quote on how much it costs to get it fixed & I have received prices ranging from around $270 up to $825 and they all are using different terminology on what the problem is so I don't know who or what to believe. My inspection is due at the end of this month. I have an Ion and have read several reviews about broken windshield wipers because of some faulty plastic parts that were used. Some reviewers bought the parts & fixed it themselves, but I know nothing about cars and have no close friends or relatives who could help.

I'm not fluent with car lingo, but my drivers side windshield wiper is broken at the base, it works, but it moves past the windshield to the side of the car if I have it on for too long. I took it to an automotive shop and they said the entire mount thingy may have to be replaced. They did research & quoted me $825.75. They also said they had another Saturn in the shop with the exact same problem. The auto shop guy showed me & I could see where the part broke off. Has anyone experienced this & had it fixed for cheaper?

I have had horrible acne since I was about 12 and new I'm almost 30. I've had a lot of health issues in the past few years that has made me acne unbearable. I've tried EVERYTHING, Proactive, Clinique, spent hundreds of dollars at the dermatologists, nothing has worked. These treatments have left me with so many dark spots on my face-but I don't wear makeup. But I am getting desperate. What are some options for me to cover them up?

So I live in an apartment complex with a few thugs. I've only stayed here for a few months but have had to call the police about 3 times because of fights and gunshots. One such neighbor who basically sits outside all day drinking will sometimes say "Good Morning" or "Good Afternoon" whenever I go from my car to my apartment. I ignore him. Is this wrong?

Now in any other situation I'm sure guys will call me stuck up. But if a guy is trying to talk to a girl & she ignores him, that should be a sign for him to stop trying! I'm sure responding to the greeting can lead to an actual conversation, but I really don't want to be even remotely acquainted with anyone here. I'm moving as soon as I can & I'm sure someone will get seriously hurt because of the violence here-and I don't want it to be me. So am I wrong?

Do I need to call the cable company to tell them to begin my service? The cord is already available; do I need to get a cable box??

Twice today I had issues getting my key out of my ignition. I have to start up my car again & tried like 4 times before it finally came out. I was told by one auto shop to get a new key because mine is old and worn. For just a new ignition key, I was quoted a price of $115. I have no idea if the key will work, or if I need a new ignition switch. How much would the ignition switch cost to replace? I have an 04' Saturn Ion 2. All answers appreciated!

My engine light came on & I paid $80 for them to run diagnostic on my car. They said that my sensors were going out & that to replace them would cost $269.90. I told them I would get it fixed on the weekend.

I have had a very bad feeling about this all day. I always go to this auto shop to get scheduled maintenance and for whatever other issues that may arise with my car. I feel like I got ripped off today & don't want to keep this weekend appointment. Searching online at:

I just started a blog where I'll do reviews and was wondering if it would be ok for me to use some quotes from the books I review as long as I cite them. And is citing them even necessary? I'm just doing this for fun so I don't know if I should be worried about any kind of legal stipulations that may arise because I'm talking about someone else's work.
