I am going crazy because I can't get rid of fleas! One month ago, I was dog sitting in my apartment. When that dog left, both of my cats had fleas. I bathed them with Adam's flea shampoo, gave them flea collars. I cleaned my house, washed all laundry and blankets, then used bug bombs. Two weeks ago, the cats still had fleas, so I ditched the collars, gave them front line, used flea powder on all of the carpets, vacuumed really well, washed more blankets, and used flea spray on the beds and furniture. Two nights ago, I saw that one of the cats still had fleas, so I washed her again. Now I am at a loss. I am covered head to toe in flea bites. My cats are miserable, thankfully my husband hasn't had a single bite, neither has my son. Just me. WHAT have I done wrong/ what do I need to do?

My husband is military and we are on our first child. We are currently stationed in Biloxi, MS and just got orders to Norfolk, VA. It's about 1000 miles. Here's the problem: my husband graduates school on March 29, I am due April 30th. The navy is going to pack and move all of our stuff for us April 1st, so all we have to do is make the 16 hour trip in two days, which I think I will be able to handle. His chain of command is saying to him that they are concerned about me moving while so late in my pregnancy, not just the trip, but unpacking, getting settled, getting a new doctor, and everything that goes hand in hand with relocation.

My pregnancy has been healthy, I am healthy. I am not worried about moving, and I really really want to be moved into our new place and have the house as close to ready as I can get before the baby comes. Otherwise, I will have to stay in Mississippi and have my son, then travel with him to Virginia, find a place, get moved in and all that. It just seems to me like it would be easier to do it all in april before he comes than it would be to do it all in may after he gets here. And, I feel like I am up for it. My husband is afraid of me going into labor on the trip, but my doctors haven't said anything to me about being at risk for premature delivery (I'm only 27 weeks right now, though, and I understand that anything can happen, but we don't have the time to wait and see, we have a lot of arrangements we have to make). So, I think he's being paranoid, he thinks I am being stubborn.

My question is, what would you do? What do you think I should do? I have never been in a situation like this, so I honestly don't know what I should expect to feel like at 35 weeks along. Am I taking too big of a risk here? My husband thinks I am being stubborn, but I really feel like my way is going to be easier, even if there are risks.

From either side of my family. When I found out that it was a boy, I was bombarded by my husbands aunt and grandmother to name my son Delbert, which is their deceased huband/father. It's also my fathers name, and my father in laws middle name. I can understand that they want a name sake for their lost loved one (whom I never met), but my husbands family already has a naming tradition where the fathers first name is the first sons middle name, and I am very ok with that. But now they are trashing the name that my husband and I choose because it isn't what they wanted. And, grandma already told my mother in law that no matter what name he is given, she is going to nickname him Del anyways!!! I already can't stand either one of them (aunt or grandma), and my husband knows this, but now that there is going to be a son/great grandson involved it's going to a whole new level of annoyance. What is the best way to deal with their attitudes towards my kids' name?

more like a tightness/sqeezing sensation on the right side of my chest, just under the ribs it felt like. It came and went several times while I was proped up in bed reading. Did kind of take my breath away for a few seconds at a time. Not worried about a heart attack, I am in pretty good health, 25 years old and almost 7 months pregnant. Not sure if I should call the doctor or not as it has been about an hour since the last "episode", but I am wondering if I should wait for it to happen again and then call or if I need to call now?

which is 4 pretty good sized ribs. How do I cook it? I do not have a grill. I don't know how long or what temp to cook it in the oven. I also have a rotissery, but I have never used it before. It is one of the ronco ones. Any Help Please?

I loved all of these books. I even read twilight again last week (by the way, I read really really fast, the whole series took my 5 days to read). I tend to like young adult books, as long as it's a series. I do not like david Eddings, I tried to read Pawn of Prophecy... hated it. Anything else though would be very much appriciated!

The worst part, is that I got my kitten today. I haven't even named her yet! Anyway, I was walking her through petsmart (to get some supplies, this kitten really wasn't planned...) and I noticed the fleas. Now, she has already been in my car and on my lap/shoulder at this point. I buy some flea shampoo that says on the lable safe for kittens (then my husband read the lable after I procede to shampoo this poor animal) that it is only for kittens 8 months or older. Crap. Anyway, my point is that we already picked off all of the dead fleas on her body. I was really nervous about doing her face (where all of the fleas that survived her body are visibly crawling around...yeesh...) How do I do her face? Her ears? without burning her eyes or hurting her ears? Please help, I am freaking out... poor little thing! Oh, is there anything i can do for her tonight? I was going to wait until the first to take her into the vet to get her wellness plan/shots and stuff set up, but if I have to, I will take her in tomorrow. By the way, she is only 8 weeks old...

I was recently diagnosed with PCOS, but I still ovulate. Lately my cycles have been more consistant since I have started being more active, eating healthier and losing weight. Now I am wondering if I add pre-natal vitamins, will that help with the infertility. I understand that they are not "get pregnant" pills, but surely I would benifit from the vitamins, right?

Alright, I had an account in collections for a really long time. When I started paying it down the collector told me that once it was all paid off that I should send copies of the paid in full letter to the 3 main credit bureaus (transunion, eqifax and experian). However, she did not provide me with the addresses I needed. So I have been circling the internet for hours and hours trying to find these addresses and phone numbers. I found addresses and phone numbers for all three, but these addresses and lines are for obtaining credit reports. My questions are:

Q: If I send my paid in full letters to the main addresses listed, then will someone there know what to do with it, or throw it away because I was supposed to send it to some other (super-secret) address

Q: is it even necessary to send the paid in full letters to the credit bureaus? Because one would think that a collections agency would send that info off in their special way as soon as a debt is settled. ALSO, if it were necessary, you would think that there would either be a designated 1-800 number with PEOPLE to answer questions, a designated PO box address listed somewhere on the internet used for people who need a little more service than a free credit report, or a straight answer about any of these issues somewhere.

Sorry, that last question kind of turned into a rant....

This may be a dumb question, but here goes. I live in washington state and have a suspended drivers license. I was wondering if I move to a different state and become a resident (which I am doing because my husband is military and we have to report to a new station) will I be able to get a drivers licence in that new state?

I looked at my usual video haunts, www.livecinemaonline.com, www.hulu.com, www.yidio.com and www.fancast.com, but for some reason they are only showing 45 minutes of a two hour finale! If anyone knows anywhere else I can go, 10 points!!!

ps. I would rather not go through the abc website because they make you download a video player, so please don't recommend that.

I am a junk food junkie. I love fast food, I have dessert after dinner every night. About two months ago, I started getting concerned because I noticed that my pants were very tight, and I preferred wearing my husbands tee shirts because they are looser on me than my clothes are. So I did a total diet makeover, not a diet, but real changes.

For breakfast I have two cups of coffee, 1/2 a cup of trim cottage cheese with pineapple and strawberry's. I skip lunch, usually, but when I do have it I eat a salad or more cottage cheese. For dinner, we have fish or chicken always with a large salad, not fast food. I traded in all of my ice creams and pies for a couple of cookies or fruit snacks (I don't want to quit all of the sugarie stuff because I will go on binges if I cut them all out). I have also started walking my dog a couple times a day (usually I walk my husband to work, then I meet him for lunch, then I pick him up from work) so I am getting out a lot more and walking. I quit drinking every kind of soda (even diet) which was really hard, but now I just drink coffee, tea, crystal light and water. This is all well and fine, and I noticed that I do have more energy these days and I feel good, but I am still wearing my husbands clothes or pj's. I haven't shed one pound or one inch. What is going on?

I haven't fallen or done anything to cause this pain! I feel ok when I sit, but when I stand and walk it's a sharp muscle pain. It started yesterday when I was walking up stairs, then it went away and I was fine. When i got up this morning, I was ok, no pain at all, but I took my dog for a walk and it starting hurting again. I don't have time to go to the doctor today because my husband and I are leaving for a vacation for two weeks! What is going on and what can i do?

Last night on Grey's Anatomy, a little girl shot her father 17 times because he was abusing her and her mother. She had no other defense from him because the mother was a sucker, and kept going back to the abusive father, which also subjected the little girl to the father until one day she just had enough. The girl was 6, and the mother was about to make her go and apologise to her father before he went into surgery, and Meredith yelled at the mom telling her that she owed the daughter the apology, not the daughter owing one to the family. Do you think that Meredith was right to defend the little girl that way, or do you think that she was to hard on the mom?

My husband and I are young, and we have a very active sex life. He is not a particularly well endowed guy, if you catch my drift, but that has never been a problem for me. For the 2 1/2 years the sex has been amazing, until about 5 months ago. For some reason, I have just not been able to have an orgasm when we are having sex! I told him at first, I never faked an orgasm, but he got really down on himself about a month ago, and he didn't want to have sex at all. He kept saying things like "i am a failure" and "what is wrong with me" and stuff that made me feel guilty. We went about a week with out making love, and then we finally again did and I faked. I have been doing that for about 3 weeks now, but I have noticed how much better he feels when he thinks that I am satisfied (which is really hard to pretend to be satisfied when I haven't been for months... but I do it anyway). I know that I shouldn't lie to him, but I don't like seeing him sad. Boosting his confidence and making him happy in our sex life has made such a difference in his mood for the last few weeks, but I aching for some good ****. What should I do?

It's not a huge trip for us, it's only 85 miles, but after the hotel and food and gas it will be kinda pricey for us. We really want to go, but I wanted to make sure that the expierence will be worth the money because we are going to have to budget really carefully for the rest of the month. It will be good for us to get out, we really need a break. I just don't want to do something stupid if we can use the money for something else later. Any suggestions/tips?
