Okay, so my hair's really boring, and tomorrow I'm having it cut.

It's been the same practically all my life, and I'm bored of it - but I'm not a really confident or pretty person that could pull anything off.

Is there anything that would make my hair slightly more exciting or even just 'cool', but without being too wacky or scary? :L

It's really long, and I'd ideally like to keep it that way. Every time I go to the hairdressers I just get a trim, and they put some long layers in, but I'd just really like a change! :)

I'm doing a speech on honour killings, and I have most of my information and stuff, I just don't know how to start it.

I want it to be quite hard-hitting and make people think, right from the beginning.

We have to do a speech in English... some of the things other people are doing are things like stereotypes, images of women in the media, euthanasia, organ donation..

I want to choose an interesting topic, but which is different to other people.

Something that will make a good speech that people will care about...

We're allowed to choose the topic, more or less, but it should be something we feel strongly about, and obviously not something useless like 'Why you should straighten your hair every morning'.

Some suggestions were stereotypes, euthanasia, organ donation, religion...

I do have opinions on these, of course, I'm a very opinionated person.. :L

But none of them have affected me directly, and I don't feel I know enough about them to do a speech. I also want something different to what the others are doing, to make my speech stand out.

Please help me choose an interesting topic!!

Okay, this is what I have to say for my Spanish speaking exam, so accents are not very important - I just need to make sure it makes sense!! :L It's all very basic language, I've not been doing Spanish long.

Mi asignatura favorita es el español. Español me gusta porque es un tema nuevo. Yo lo he aprendido desde septiembre. Es bueno porque voy a vivir en Espana cuando sea major. Desafortunadamente no pienso soy bueno en español. Me gusta el español porque el profesor es divertido. También me gusta el arte, pero soy malo en ello.

No me gusta las ciences físicas porque soy muy malo en la física. La profesora es aburrida, pero ella explica muy bien. Detesto el deporte! En mi opinion, la profesora es muy antipatica así que yo no trabajo. No me gusta hacer deporte, es aburrido y agotador.

Si tengo que llevar uniforme. Llevo una chaqueta rojo y uno pantalones azul marinos, y una a rayas corbata. No me gusta el uniforme porque es incómoda. Me gustaría ropa casual.

Cuando era mas pequeno llevaba pantalon de peto. Que son cómodas y que estaba bien si estaban sucias.

A las siete, me despierto. Después, tengo el desayuno. Voy a la escuela en el autobús. El cole empieza a las nueve. Cuando llego a casa hago los deberes. Entonces tengo la cena y descansar.

Pasado fin de semana, hice los deberes. Miré la televisión y leer un libro. Jugaba al fútbol con mi hermano. Él ganó, claro.

But my boyfriend says he has my present all planned out, and I don't want to not have one for him.

I have pretty much no money, and I don't want to give tacky stuffed toys or whatever, and he doesn't really like chocolate :/

I think the Olympics is costing about £9000000000 (£9bn)...

How could the money be spent more effectively, rather than being wasted on the Olympic games?

For example;

•We could build 158 new primary schools around the country or 18 new secondary schools.

•We could construct 140 miles of new motorway.

•The amount of money spent on the Olympics would pay for 200,000 nurses.

(These ideas each only cost £2bn).
