  • Pain after gall bladder surgery?

I had gall bladder surgery a week ago. I have been up waking around, but taking it easy. Today, I noticed the upper back pain and pain in my stomach to the right are still there! I noticed this because I forgot to take my afternoon pain pill. Now I am a little worried because this problem was the reason why they decided to do laprocracy surgery. Along with my bad Hida scan. Is this normal? Should these pains still be there. Doc appt is next week but I want some opinions.

  • Can someone give me some sound advice?

I am currently enrolled to become a teacher (TEXAS). I will finish up my sophomore year this sememster. To move onto the next semester they are requiring me to pass an entrance exam, I did not pass. I made a 61 when a 65 was required to enter the program. I have a meeting with my advisor next week to determine if I can continue on with the program. So....I sit here all worried about it. I don't want the last 2 years of coursework to go to waste if they do not let me in. What can I do? I was thinking about maybe majoring in Human Growth and Development so most of my classes count. Help! I am in my mid-30's so I don't want to be in school forever. Can I get my alternative teacher's certification if I go this route and still be a teacher?

Also, I am so down on myself. I have managed to pull a 4.0 but I didn't pass this one test..so it all might mean nothing! Then, I have 3 more state tests to pass once I am in the program. If I can't pass a practice, how am I going to pass the real deal? Feeling depressed!

  • Can I retake the accuplacer?

I am currently in college to become a teacher. I am about to go into my Junior year and my advisor emailed me and told me I had to take an Acculpacer test and get a certain score on each content area to be able to apply to the actual teaching program. I took it today and aced all sections except for the Math. I needed a 73 and I got a 51. I am stunned. I am a 4.0 student and I have taken all my math courses except for 1. Will this prevent me from continuing on with the program. Can I take the test again? I am so upset about it. My advisor is so hard to get ahold of but I am going to see her tomorrow. Just want to see what anyone thinks will happen.

  • I need some advice for my anxiety, please.?

I have been having symptoms of anxiety a little more than usual. I guess its due to going back to college, working, and serving in the military as a reservist. I had my physical test this past weekend and I was so worried about it that I couldn t sleep. It really affected me. Now, I was thinking about going to see a doc about it to get some anti-anxiety pills, BUT then I thought about it, and the military..what will they think? I would probably get kicked out? So...I am thinking that I can just deal with it on my own? What do you think?

  • Will I pass my run test? Please help!?

I am so nervous. I have to run 1.5 miles in 16:57. I am female, 34yrs. old, 144 lbs. I am NOT a good runner. I have been practicing for weeks. On a good day I can run the 1.5 mile in 15:40. The other day I tried it and barely made it in 16:40. My legs were so tired and it was really windy during part of my run. I hope I will be ok. The test is in 2 days...also the day I did 16:40 I ran really fast at the beginning and had no energy at the end. Should I start off slower? I am just worried I will not have time at the end? HELP!
