Hi everyone,

My brother is 34 and he got an operation done three weeks ago to take out most of his brain tumor.

We got the results today and it is a cancerous type III tumor which doesn't sound too good. The name of it is Oligodendroglioma.

The doctor said that the good news is that she got most of the tumor out and my brother will need a couple of Chemotherapy treatments to kill off the rest of it.

She also told him not to give up because she has good thoughts he will get through it and live normally but she will still need to follow up with him and pass scans and blood tests every month.

My question is how do we help my brother stay positive throughout the hard times and what are the chances he survives this type of tumor ?

3 years ago I had a roundworm pass through my stools. It was about 6 inches long.

I had symptoms which include rectal discomfort, rectal itching and INTENSE intestianal cramps while passing stools and when I had to go to the bathroom.

When this happened I had brought the worm to the hospital. (It was red and DEAD).

Accompanied by this, they had noticed I had pinworms too.

The doctors gave me treatment pills to take to make sure it kills all eggs so this doesn't happen again.

They never tested me though ...

Now these symptoms are back. MY intestins hurt so bad and I'm frightened and scared that I have a worm again.

What should I do ... how do you stop getting infested by parasites. I eat well and I am very healthy ..

I DON'T know what to do anymore ... and this is going to drive me insane !!!!!

If lets say the needle was disinfected with ALCOHOL but the tattoo artist used the same ink tube that he used on all the other clients ...

Can HIV survive in ink or any other fluid or on an object once it is exposed to air ?

I saw a family doctor once last year but she wasn't good and she didn't want to see me for my general problems ... she only wanted to see me for one of my health problems ?!?!?! Really useless to me...

So basically I have decided to change family doctors and my new one isn't even situated in the same city.

She advised me that she can not register me under her name since I am already registered.

So my question is; how do I get myself registered with my new family doctor and cancel the other one that is useless to me and she isn't good at ALL !!!

J'ai décidé tout récemment de changer mon médecin de famille (la nouvelle est situé à Montréal). Mais elle m'a informé qu'elle ne peut pas me lister dans ses patientes puisque je suis déjà enregistré avec l'autre INCOMPÉTENTE !!!

Ma question c'est; comment puis-je faire pour m'enregistrer sous ma nouvelle et annuler l'autre médecin !?!?!

C'est tellement compliqué!!!!

I am currently finishing my treatment of CIPRO XL 1000mg that my urologist prescribed following an operation.

I completely forgot that it can make your skin senstive to the sun; I tanned and now my skin is peeling badly and it is extremely dry and itchy.

Is this side effects from the antibiotic I am taking?

I have also noticed that 3 days later my face has brokeout badly with acne and it is hard to make the pimples go away.

Is this also caused by the antibiotics?

I have extreme nausea and I feel tired.... I don't know what to do or take to feel better.

MY WHOLE BODY FEELS COMPLETEY MESSED UP :(

What can I do for my skin; and for the pimples and for the nausea :P

I am getting an operation in two days to remove a cyst in my urethra.

The doctor had told me not to drink or eat 12 hours before the operation but I was wondering what I should eat the day before not to have an upset stomach or indigestion or nausea when I wake up adter surgery.

For 5 months now I've been skipping my period with my birth control pill. Now I feel like I always have nausea, itchy nipples, headaches, I feel tired and no energy....

I have really bad low abdominal cramps.....I am just wondering what is going on.

Did I do anything wrong? Is all my side effects happening because I skip my period so much ?

I'm 5'5 at 125lbs/128lbs.

My hips suddenly became wider and now I don't fit in my size 3 pants anymore.

Now I need size 5 and even a size 7 that isn't tight on me though I feel great in the size 7 !!

What do you guys think about my weight and size ?

(my hips in measurement are about 34)

I always have cravings for sugar and I just can't resist.

Is there anything wrong with my body for it to be so addicted to sugar this way?

I am really worried that I have developed heart problems because of exaggerated daily sugar intake.

Can anyone help me and give me tips to try and stop and can I know what type of problems that I can get if this continues ?

Besides having a very sweet tooth I take care of my general health.

I don't smoke and I don't take drugs. I don't drink much alcohol neither...

I am trying to find a solution to my heart problem... out of the blue my heart starts to race really fast and I start to shake, my left arm goes numb and I fell very weak and lighheaded.

I get sudden nausea and fell very hot and like I am going to faint.

The last time it happened I was going o go to the ER because I thought it was really a heart attack.

This happened to me 4 times and I know it isn't panic attack or anxiety.....

Can someone please help i AM REALLY WORRIED, when I work out my left side goes numb and I have to stop cardio.

I have long hair that isn't dry but my ends are dry because they are split.

Usually I use the whole line of Biolage hair products, Hydra Therapy and ultra smoothing mask. Then I use the oil in my hair as well as a heat protector before using the blow dryer and straightening iron.

I switched to Moroccan Oil Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner, Moroccan Oil Hydrating Treatment Mask and the oil for the hair but this product makes my hair so greasy even using a little bit of the product.

Can anyone give me tricks and product brands that are great and making hair SEXY, SHINY, SILKY, SMOOTH SOFT ! And try to keep my ends healthy even if they are already split....

BTW: Biolage products are great but I am looking for that product that will give me a WOW FACTOR and I don`t really care about the price. If possible, I would like to hear about NATURAL products that are less damaging for the hair....

My face is acne/prone and gets oily easily when I wear makeup. I also have acne scars and big pores that I would like to cover. I have a light skin tone but I love to tan and go down south so then I have to put bronzers on and wear darker makeup.

I tried all the pharmacy brands and even tried Lise Watier makeup and it doesn't do anything good for my skin, it gets oily and cakey throughout the day and it isn't nice at all.

I am looking for makeup that will stay put all day and that provides great croverage without looking like I am wearing any.

I also need good makeup that will not cause future breakouts and that is good for acne/prone skin.

Any suggestions ?

My dad is at his 140th jump alone and it has always been his dream that his little girl jumps out of the plane too.

So basically the day of my jump, I felt sick to my stomach and I had diarrhea and I simply had to pee every minute !

I know that my nerves got the best of me....

basically in the plane I was so afraid that I wanted to back off but my instructor jumped out with me and simply forced the jump, I loved it !

But the whole time I couldn't breath and I was panicking during the free fall....

When we landed, I felt lightheaded and my legs where numb and I felt ANXIOUS and my heart pinched soooo bad.

For a whole week I felt like I was falling all the time and my heart didn't stop hurting and pinching and I felt anxious..

Did something bad happen, and I guess I shouldn't be doing it again after all the bad feelings I had afterwards ?

Please tell me what you guys think and if I should get my heart checked out ??????

I am seriously in need of good answers so please do not reply silly things to my question since this is a big issue that I am dealing with.

All the stories that go through my head are always about my relationship.

In the past I have gone through very rough times with ex's of verbal and physical abuse, dealing with liars, cheaters, getting used and *****d over financially.

Now with my new boyfriend, I can't stop imagining stories in my head OVER AND OVER again when he isn't with me or doesn't call for a long period of time my brain NEVER STOPS and I think to myself that he doesn't love me anymore, he left me, he doesn't care or his with someone better than me.

It's getting me sick, I puke and shake and have diarhea how bad this is affecting my health and I can't sleep neither until I hear from him and know that he is still by my side.

My boyfriend told me that I need to take my part and try to help myself and that he will stay by my side to help me go through my over reacting emotional breakdowns.

So I KNOW he truely does love me to put up with my emotions and I just want to know WHY this is happening to ME?

Why do I feel this way and what can I do to make it stop ?

When I do cardio and intense work outs I end up feeling numb on the left side of my body. Often my left foot goes numb but sometimes my left arm, leg and foot gets numb as well. What can this mean, is this dangerous? I was told that I didn't have any heart problems but this does get me nervous.

The trainers at my gym had even told me to stop doing cardio and get the condition checked out.

Can anyone relate to this or does anyone know why this happens?

It has now been a year that I am with my boyfriend and he is the best guy but when I ended up seeing porn on his computer I was completely upset to the fact that he had masturbated on other women when we have a great and healthy sex life. It is as if I don't feel good enough for him and I ended up comparing myself to the girls he has masturbated on. In a year I had found two porn sites and I was crushed. I confronted him with it and he has told me that it had only happened twice because he felt the need of sex and I wasn't there so he simply masturbated over porn to have something to arouse him. He said that he never does it often and that he will stop and he wont do it again since it isn't a need for him and he didn't mean to hurt me. He also said that he completely understood my feelings towards the situation and that those girls aren't any better than me and that I don't need to beat myself over it. Since then, I also check his internet browser and of course, no signs of porn sites or any other sexual content. I am thinking that he must still masturbate, I am having trouble believing that he doesn't, and that he now deletes the history so I don't know about it. I feel betrayed, not good enough. I even feel practically cheated on. I DON'T KNOW what to do or think anymore and I don't know what to believe. What should I do to help myself try and accept it if I end up catching him do it again?
