So basically I found out that I self harm... I usually cut but I didn’t think it was actual self harm and have never truly believed it was because it wasn’t deep.

Now I want to hurt myself really bad and I think I I’m going to take some otc pain meds Sunday next week. I’m going to make myself sick after but I’m worried about if all the tablets don’t come up... Will they see it as an attempt or for what it is-self harm if I need to get help? Does anyone have any ideas of any implications this may have?

Obviously I don’t want to, not truly but having been through rape, sexual assault, abuse and neglect in my childhood it’s the only release I’ve found that stops me from thinking about everything all at once.

Is it self harm if the cuts aren’t deep?

Like if they still draw blood but are surface cuts?
