I want to get an anticipation from income tax for Christmas and such. When does H&R Block start?

I started a job bartending at a local bar. During training, I don't get to keep the tips, which I am not really bothered by. I am more bothered that I haven't been paid for my shifts at all. I've worked 2 shifts so far, 9 hours apiece and am running the bar, just with an observer. Is the boss not paying me for those shifts unlawful?

It seems every where I go these days, people are talking about the date 12/21/2012. According to the Mayan calendar this date is the last day of the world. I hear nonbelievers and I hear believers. Seeing the people that believe it so often, even have a way of looking at the bright side of that day ending the world, makes me more terrified of the arrival of that day. I want opinions on this date.

And FYI, I didn't know which category to put this question under. I figured Science fit it good enough.

My son has had a bed wetting problem since he was potty trained. He's now 8 and half years old and still wets the bed. I refuse to buy the Pull Ups for him because he's started priding himself in wearing the "diapers", as he calls them.

I cut off fluids at 7pm, and he goes to bed at 8. I make him pee before bed. I wake him up around 10 to pee and again at around 2am. He still somehow wets the bed.

The morning after, he seems to NEVER have recollection of even being woken up at all. It's like he's too deep a sleeper to wake up or something. I'm lost at this point and don't know what to do.

Does anyone out there have input for me?

A friend of my boyfriends has disappeared. He had some personal stuff going on prior to the disappearance and we're concerned for his safety. He hasn't been to work, hasn't contacted any family or friends. We're concerned but also want to give him his space if that's what he's needing. When's the right time to file a missing person's report?

I just bought a ball python yesterday. I want to know the sex but all I can find online is "probing" and "popping" to check. Does anyone know of a way without having to do something like that?

The lowdown---I started dating this guy, he's 20 and I'm 26. He's fun and he's got a big heart, but the age difference is extremely obvious. I can see this but I know he's looking past it and wanting things to work. I need advice on how to break this guy loose without bluntly stating "You're immature". That's what I want to say, but I'd like to say it with a little bit more tact.

It's not that he's immature necessarily, it's just that our maturity levels are different. How do I let this guy down gently?

I woke up this morning with a small rash going across my upper lip extending onto my cheek. It's barely noticeable unless I point it out to people and it doesn't itch. Has anyone else experienced this before? Anyone know what it is or how to get rid of it quickly?

I'm a single 26 year old single mother. I've been single for over 2 years now. There's a guy that's interested in me who's way bigger than any other person I've dated, like weight-wise. I'm not a shallow person, the weight wouldn't make me NOT date him, but I'm just wondering....is being with a bigger guy in bed any different? And don't state the obvious...
