I want to find out info about my family, and I'm thinking about using ancestry.com. I'm posting this question in order to find out if someone else has used the website to find out facts about their ancestors, and did it cost a lot of money? I really want to find out more about my ancestors but I'm not going to pay hundreds of dollars. Also, if you did use the website were you happy with the results?

I'm a 19 mother to a 17 month old son. I attend college full time, and my major is nursing. Before I had my son I traveled with my sister, and did normal things that teens do. We'd go shopping, to the movies, out of the country,etc. Now, I've given up all those things and it was a big adjustment. I had to see all my friends go off to college, and I'm at a community college. I've learned to make the best of my situation, and be happy with my life. The problem is that my sister is 41 years old, makes good money and loves to spend it. Today, she got on my case and asked me do I ever want to go out with my friends to movies or out to eat. I told her no, and instead of her leaving the situation alone she kept coming at me about it. She made jokes, and said that I needed to stop sitting in the house all the time, and hang out with friends. It made me mad because I don't party, smoke,drink,have tattoos,go to movies,etc and I try to be a good mother to my son. There are so many mothers that are my age and older than me and they spend their money foolishly, but I'm a mother first and everything comes second. The reason I don't care that much about those things is because I try to keep as much money as I can,so I won't have to ask her for anything, or depend on family members to help me, because when you need other people you may not get help. The other reason why I try to keep money is because when my mother was unemployed she couldn't find work and they cut her check off. The only thing that saved us was my financial aid check and refund check. Its sad because my motehr and I struggled, and my sister makes over $86,000 a year, and at the time she was working through a program and made $300 a day! She had more than enough to help. She never offered to help buy diapers for my son, and I'm not saying it was her responsibility, but someone has helped her to get to where she is today, and someone helped her with her child. I'm trying to be a good mother, but it made me so mad because I help pay bills more than she does for our mom, and she has the nerve to come at me about not hanging out with friends. What do you think?

I know this isn't related to pregnancy, but I decided to post my question here because I would be able to get responses from many females about this issue.About two days ago I began experiencing itchy vagina lips. Yesterday my clitoris began itching as well. What can I do about it? I seriously doubt that I have a std. I got a full std check at the end of April, and everything was fine. I think this may be because of a yeast infection though. When I have sex there is a white discharge, and sometimes I have vaginal itchyness. Has this happened to anyone before? I feel a little embarrassed, but I'm a female and things like this can happen.

Years ago I used to shed blood clots when my period came on, but now I don't. I can't remember the last time I shed a blood clot and I've been on birth control for over a year, now. Is it normal for me not to shed blood clots? Years ago I always had heavy period that lasted for five days and I would always be bloated. Now, my periods last for about two to three days and they're not heavy at all. I know the birht control plays a big role in the length of my period, but I just wantto know is it normal for me not to have blood clots. I had unprotected sex last month, had a period and visited my obgyn so i definitely doubt im pregnant. I have unprotected sex earlier this month and I still had a period. I know that the lining of my uterus is supposed to shed and I'm supposed to get clots. Im unsure if im not getting them because my period isn't heavy....Is this normal?

I had unprotected sex in April, and my period came on for that month. In the month of April I also went to my obg/yn for a yearly check up and I seriously doubt that I'm pregnant because the doctors office never called me back and my period came on for that month. I also had unprotected sex in May and my period came on on the 22nd. The strangest thing happened to me today. I had sex (with a condom) and afterwards I noticed light bleeding, when I used the bathroom. I've already had a period for this month, and I take my birth control everyday. What may have caused this? I never have bleeding more than once in a month. The only time I bleed is when my period comes on. Has this happened to anyone and what may have caused this?

I had sex around the time I ovulated two weeks ago. I'm expecting a period tomorrow, and I feel like it's not going to come on. I've been taking my birth control for over a year and I take it every day. The reason I feel like it's not going to come on is because every other day I have the urge to have a bowel movement. When I was pregnant with my son the same thing happened, and I had a bowel movement every other day. Now I feel the same way. I've been having cramps, and I want to know could my birth control cause the cramps, or does it mean my period is coming on. Another reason why I think I'm pregnant is because of a old wives tale. I'm from the south and many people from the south believe in old wives tales. Are they true? I recently had unprotected sex about two weeks ago, and that was around the time I was ovulating. I recently brought a 95 Dodge Intrepid, this is my first car and I'm 19 and it's paid for. I'm in college, a mother and I'm very proud of myself for buying my first car and continuing my education. I need my car in order to get back and forth to school, so I'm trying my best to take very good care of it. Lately I've noticed that I often have problems with my car that are related to a bad transmission, jerking, and sometimes the car doesnt want to accelerate. A guy told me that I need a new transmission, but someone else told me that it can't be the transmission because of the miles on my car ( I have less than 90,000 miles on my car). I really love my car and I want to get down to the bottom of this issue, because things get worse, and I know most mechanics will rip you off. Has this happened to anyone before?All these signs point to transmission, but I have less than 90,000 miles. I always keep transmission fluid, oil and power steering fluid in my car. The other day I put water in my radiator because I didn't have antifreeze, but I plan to put some in soon. Please help.

I'm a college student and I brought a 95 dodge intrepid about two months ago. Some things about my car is that the line up is good, tires are good, it has less than 90.000 miles and I keep oil, power steering fluid and transmission fluid in it. The problem is that when I back up and stop the car squeals badly. It doesn't squeal all the time, in fact, it only squeals when its cold, been raining outside or if its early in the morning. Why is this? What should I do?

I have a doctors appointment next week, and I'm going to checked for all stds. In inside of my bottom lip is a lightish brown color,its been like this for years and i dont smoke. I noticed that the inside of my sons bottom lip is the same way. I dont let him eat or drink anything behind me, because I want to make sure I dont have any stds. Its not noticable unless I look in a lot of light. Is this normal or could this be a std? I've also noticed that on both cheeks of my mouth I have a dark red dot on both of my cheeks. It's not painful. Is this normal?

I'm 19 and the coolest thing for people my age seems to be partying all the time, drinking a lot, smoking and getting a lot of tattoos. I know everyone my age doesn't do that stuff but once people become adults, they do many of those things I've listed. I like how people get cute tattoos on their wrist with flowers or their name. I was considering getting a tattoo, but I'm not in a rush because I don't think I can live with a tattoo for the rest of my life. Sometimes I think to myself "are these people thinking about jobs when they get these huge tattoos?" A lot of my peers are going into the medical field and they have tattoos on their wrist or neck. Could that stop them from getting the job they want? I'm in college, and my major is nursing. I want to become a Registered Nurse, and I think that if I got a tattoo on my neck or wrist I wont be able to get the job I want. I mean think about it, who wants to hire someone in a hospital that has visible tattoos? A person can be a very nice and loving person, but first impression matters, and most people will think you're wild if other bad things about you if you have a visible tattoo, especially in a hospital.

i first got a filling in my mouth like five years ago, and afterwards I noticed that I have a black small dot on the inside of both of my cheeks in my mouth. It doesnt hurt, and I think it may have came from the shot I had to get on both sides of my cheeks. Is this normal?

I'm 19 years old and I'm attending a community college, where I'll become a Registered Nurse. Frequently I go to hospital websites and look up what jobs openings they have. On one hospital website there is a postition for a Registered Nurse Anestesia. Does that mean that a Registered Nurse can take classes to give anestesia? I have a friend, and he's going to college to become a Anestesiologist. I thought you'd have to become a Anestesiologist in order to give anestesia. But, after I saw the opening for a Registered Nurse Anestesia, I think it must mean a Registered Nurse can give anestesia. If so does a RN have to take certain classes, and doesn't have to be a anestesiologist?

im a college student and im buying my first car. im getting a 95 dodge intrepid. the blue book price is $1800 but im buying it for $1300. the car is a 95 and has 85,000 miles on it. i think thats good for a car that old, because everyone i know that is trying to sell a honda ( like a 95 or 96) has a price thats out of my range, and im a nursing student and i'll need a car. i took out a loan because im unemployed, so is my mother. this car will help me with school ( clinicals and traveling to class...i go to a community college) and it will help me find a job. is a dode intrepid a bad car? plz give me a review. i heard its a bad car but i plan to keep it up (oil,gas,transmission fluid,etc)

Lately people have been making fake pages on facebook, and they've been saying a lot of awful things about people online. Someone just sent me a friend request and other people I know a friend request. Its obvious because the person claims to be over 17 with a picture of kim kardashian for the profile picture. If the person puts my name on the internet and says bad things like someone has been doing other people how can I find out who did it? I'll print the page off for proof, try to find a way they're defaming my character and take them to court.
