So I've liked this girl for 3-4 years now. Since I am really shy around girls, especially attractive girls, I haven't talked to her much, only 3-4 times (10-30 second chats). I see her every day at school, but we don't talk. I really want her but I doubt we can ever be together since one of her best friends likes me, and since she is a nice girl she wouldn't do that to her friend. Anyways when we first met she was really nice and friendly, but me being shy (FML), i didn't talk much, just smile. I am the kind of person that jokes around with everyone all the time or says stupid things for a laugh, and most people like me for it. So I think i must have joked with her one time and she has to take it seriously. Let me explain why I think she hates me. Whenever she sees me, she goes from smiling to serious. One time, she was talking to 2 of my friends, and I was next to them, and once I asked her a question she got serious from kindly smiling, and after replying she turned to another of my friends, continued talking and she was smiling again. On 2 other occurances, she was talking and smiling to a friend (2 different people at the 2 times) and I walked up to him to ask him something, and I could see her smile fading away while i'm getting closer. I can see her becoming serious. I understand not being able to be with her, as much as I hate that, but having the person I like so much not want to see me, that I can't stand. Please enlighten me and tell me what you think. If you're a girl, why would you do that, what is wrong with me? Thank you

I think I am addicted to the computer. I really love computers and I want to study them, but I usually spend a lot of time on the computer, creating visual effects, doing projects or just gaming, and I prefer that than, let's say, playing basketball (my favourite sport). Now if it's something awesome like going paintball, I prefer paintball 1000 times, or other fun things. So as you see I don't have many interests. I actually like science (physics, chemistry, maths, etc). Do you think I am addicted to the computer, or just like the computer as one of the things I do.

I recently got the LG W2363D Full HD 3D monitor, but i'm having trouble with the speakers. I have windows 7 Professional. I connect the one end of the audio cable (Signed "monitor in") to the back of the monitor, and the other end on the green colored port of my PC's sound card. The problem is I can't get sound from the PC, but however, The monitor produces a sound when turning on/off. I have also tried to connect my headphones to the pc and they work just fine. Am I doing anything wrong? Please help me out!

This is gonna be a lot of writing. Ok first of all, they are both very over protective, and they think you have to be over 18 to do everything. No R Rated films, no water park by myself, no paintball (at least my dad said no, my mom said yes after a lot of fighting), and even no PG-13 films if there's any nudity or sexual content in. By the way, I am 15 years old. All my friends are allowed to do the things above, but I am always the one who will ruin all the fun of the group! And really, what makes me angrier than ever is this: for all of you who know, there is a show on youtube called BFX. this show, shows you how to create the special effects seen on hollywood films, on low budget. From their, i have learned to think smart and when I see a gory scene, I am never disturbed, I smile, cause I am the only one who knows how to do that. Anyway, I have shown them many times these effects, eg. ripped skin, guts and cuts, flesh etc, but they still won't let me watch them! What the f*ck! it's like I do the effects, live, in front of them, just like in the movies, and they still won't let me see a movie with the things I myself do!? This is madness! Moving on, another topic is my mum's money saving craziness. She is really really obsessed with saving. She can fight for literally 2$! When I go out, and keep in mind that i am at high school, where i should go out often to socialize, I can't go out every week, unlike all my friend, and i have to go half the times (twice a month), and i even don't get enough money. She likes give me 15$ for the cinema and to get some food afterwards, and I say that i need 2$ more and we will have a fight for ages for 2 f*ckin bucks! Another thing is, when I talk back, and say that I hate them all these things, they start saying I don't appreciate what they offer, and they start talking and don't shut up. Yesterday, they busted in my room (the door was closed and they kicked it open, they never knock) and started checking my freaking history! Now on to my dad. He never let's me do anything, like a dad should trust his son and let him do what he wants, this one is totally different. he is scare to let me do anything. he is also really annoying. he is always bugging me to turn off the pc for example, and he starts on top of me and starts saying every 1 second "Turn it off now!" and then he starts pressing buttons! Arghhh! They also want me to bring all As and my mom's a total b*tch about school, a B means no TV, no PC, no going out, no nothing. Well, I can't remember everything right now, If i do remember something I'll post it as additional info. Please help me! And also tell me who is right: Me or Them?

ok, so this friend, is always lying about different things. First of all, he says he has a 5000 dollar computer, with 2 nvidia graphics cards of 650$ each, and 2 ATI cards 500$ each. He says he has the best computer ever created. But then again, I myself love computers and hardware, and tell him that for example there is no computer that is 5000$ (at least here at my country), that he can't pair up nvidia cards with ati cards, that I don't believe bullshit, but he responds like this: yeah, I know, that's why I took out the ati cards because it caused a problem. Another example: Every game he plays, he says "this is the best game created" and each day there is a different best game! He says that he's brother brought back bombs from the army, which we all know is illegal, so he couldn't. He says he buys a lot of expensive **** that he doesn't even know about! And when you have him on the corner, like I do, and try to convince him that the things he says he has aren't logical, then he comes up with more bullshit to convince me otherwise! What the ****? He basically lives in a lie, and the worst part is that he believes all this bullshit! How can I make him trust me, and don't lie to me. What should I tell him so that when he talks with me, he won't lie. and he will always tell the truth. I don't want to stop being friends with him, so don't make me for example embarrass him in front of other people about this stuff, so that he won't talk to me again. Thanks for every reply!

I am getting the LG W2363D 3D Full HD monitor, which also has SRS TrueSurround HD technology. Basically this technology allows you to hear sound from arround you (5.1) with only 2 speakers. My question is: can I listen to this technology with my headphones? For example, instead having my monitors speakers being surround, I could connect my headphones to my PC and the truesurround technology would process the sound and make it 5.1 surround on my headphones? So, I ordered my Gaming Computer, and I had an option to get a 27" Samsung Full HD Monitor. But instead, I ordered a 120hz 3D Full HD LG Monitor for the same money. I really want 3D vision that's why. The person told me, that if he were me, he would get the 27". I love big screens, I am using a 27" right now (Hooked it up on my laptop yesterday) which is also a TV. I seem to like it. But are 4 inches really that much of a deal? I mean, is it a big difference in size? Will 23" be a lot smaller? Will I even notice it? I would love a 120hz 27" monitor, but there isn't any yet, and the price would be huge. So in short: Is there a big difference in size? Is 23 inches a big enough monitor? Thank you.

Ok, so I have windows XP, and my desktop icons are not moving. When I click on one, I drag it to another place, and it's like you say the icon moving, but once you release the button, it snaps back to it's position. Auto Arrange Icons is turned off. The only things that are turned on, are Show desktop icons, and Align icons to Grid. The "Lock Web Icons" Option is not checked by the way. Please help.

I want to see them, but I don't know if I can stand all that gore. How much bad is it? I'm 15 btw. When a video game is marked M for Violence, then that games is in my list. I've already played Saw the game, Manhunt 2, gta IV, and really many violent games. What about Saw? Can it be compaired to Manhunt 2 for example. I have a laptop (Windows Vista) connected to the modem using an ethernet cable. I am using also a desktop computer (Windows 7) also connected to the same modem with another ethernet cable. how can I connect these 2 computers together so that I can transfer my files? What does this phrase mean? I saw it in some games's GPU requirements. Does anybody have problems playing a specific game with a laptop, but plays it fine on a desktop with an equal GPU? Is this just bullsh*t or not? Is this just for legal reasons, or does the game actually not work on a Laptop, or sometimes work? I am gonna get the 27" iMac, and because it has a mobile GPU, I wonder about this phrase.Thanks

Hey. I only had 2 computers in my life. 1 really old piece of junk, and 1 laptop, a dell inspiron 1525, the one I am using to type this question right now. This Laptop isn't exactly great, but it's good. The only major down side is its fu*king GPU, which can't play any game that was released after 2005! The older ones, are played in Low Quality, at about 25 fps and down! Anyway, I saw the new iMac, and it is absolutely georgeous. The tech specs are amazing. The GPU isn't the latest and Greatest, but from what I read is pretty good. It can play anygame at medium high settings at 1920x1080 resolution, with very good fps. Except Crysis of course. Anyway, this summer I have a job, so I can get money. So this is my chance to get a great computer. Basically, what makes me want an imac on top of a Pc, is the 2560x1440 display, and I want to try Mac OS X. I don't want to buy a PC, and buy a display with that res, because the display alone is 1500$. For Mac OS X, ah, I could live without it. Anyway, it is really fascinating to find all that in an All in One design. Here's what I am going to do with it.

I will use Mac OS X as much as I can, and when it comes to Windows only apps, and gaming, I will change to Windows 7 with Bootcamp. PLEASE, DON'T TELL ME TO JUST BUY A DESKTOP IF I AM GOING TO USE WINDOWS! I am also going to use MAC OS X, and still, the display is really expensive for a desktop. Should I go on with the iMac? Can anybody that has this particular iMac tell me how it handles the stuff I said? How about gaming? Can it handle it at 1920x1080? Does it overheat? Please answer. Thanks.

Also, don't tell me to get Linux on a Desktop if I want MAC OS X. It's not the same. NO MAC HATERS!

Is the 27" iMac the same thing as a desktop? Does it have the same advantages(Excluding upgradable components). Is it as good-even better? I don't know, a desktop the size of a screen is too good to be true! What are the advantages and disadvantages of the iMac over a desktop? thanks!

Hey guys. I really really really wanna buy this iMac, but the thing holding me back is the GPU. I heard mixed reviews, many saying it's a good card, others saying it's a bad card. To make clear. I want this rig to play all of the games at 1920x1080 medium to high quality. Except of course games like Crysis or Metro 2033 (for these, maybe 1600x1200 medium-high quality). I want decent and playable framerates. I know I can't upgrade anything in the iMac, so that's why I am asking. A friend of mine has a desktop 9800GT 1GB and can do all the things I mentioned. Will this card play any game that has come out and will come out in the future, at a good framerate with good settings? I don't want to get a PC again, so don't tell me to. Thanks for any anwsers. I WILL GAME ON WINDOWS with Bootcamp, so don't tell me "How many mac games are there to game on a mac?".

Ok, I will buy an iMac 27", and Say I hate Mac OS X (Which I doubt), can I only use windows with a different GPU like GTX 470? Can I change it myself? I know drivers don't work on Macs, but what about windows? The 27 incher is very powerfull, and only disadvantage is GPU. It has ATI HD 4850m. Is it a bad card? I heard it's pretty good. Can it play COD 6 all full at 1920x1080, or L4D full at 2560x1440? Or anything similar? Only using windows is a desperate measure! Thanks for your replies- please no apple/pc haters.
