So the problem is -4x +12 = 3(7x + 4)

so first you distribute the 3 so the problem looks like -4x + 12 = 21x +12

than you add 4 x to both sides 12 = 25x +12

and then I get stuck because I can't subtract 12 from both side because it would leave me with only 25x can you please tell me what step comes next?

So in this geometry problem i keep getting -16, but in order to completely solve the problem I have to find the square root of -16 and that can't be done because it is negative! Can someone please explain what I did wrong here? I know you need to use the distance formula! Here's the problem.....

OK there is this geometry problem that is mocking me! I know it's super easy but at the moment I'm just guessing and checking and I have not found it yet and it's super discouraging! here's the problem....

The measure of angle 1= (3x - 5)

Find the supplement of angle 1

N is between O and W. ON= 2x+5, NW= 3.5x - 4, and OW= .5x+11. Find ON, NW, and OW.

So for this problem I thought I did just fine and got x= 20 but then I got ON= 45 and NW= 66 and OW= 21... 45+66 does not in any way equal 21.... What in the world did I do wrong??????

My graphing is a little rusty and I just want to make sure of 1 thing.....

so I am graphing y= -4x +0 and I've gotten to past moving down -4 on my y intercept.but now I am kind of stuck. I can't remember whether to move 1 space to the left or to the right for my x value. I can't remember if this slope is positive or negative!

for the problem -5 - 9 - 7x +6 I keep getting -14 - 1x but my teacher keeps marking that answer wrong... is it wrong.... what is the right answer?

He often marks on my children's beds and clothing

Whenever my mother makes my brother speghetti O's and as soon as she opens the can they just come running. They will hop up on the table and eat it right out of my brother's bowl. They just love the stuff! Is it unhealthy for them to enjoy this? They aslo love buttered peas and eat them off of our plates! Is it OK for them to keep eating them?

My cat Maxy enjoys licking vick's vapor rub and he also likes to eat wintergreen flavored mints especially tic tacs. Because he suffers from many bladder problems I often give him tic tacs as a reward for being such a good boy. But I do not let him lick vick's anymore because I fear this may be harmful to my little man. Please give your advice and opinions. Thanks
