i have a MXL 990 condensor mic... the cord that hooks up to it is meant for USB ..i want to know if there is anyway type of jack or something that could hook up to the USB and have a 1/4 on the other side so basically i want to use the Microphone through a 1/4 jack

i am going reinstall windows xp onto my computer...the reinstallation disc is one i borrowed...when reinstalling will i need a product key from my computer ? or the computer the disc came from ?

i know that there are programs that will give you the product key to your computer but i need to know if i will need to know the key WHILE reinstalling, or if it will ask me to register my copy of windows AFTER i have already reinstalled it

i want to wipe my hard drive including all windows components

-how do i do it ?

-all i have is the disc to reinstall, will i need a code when reinstalling ?

i have a dell latitude c640 laptop..about a year after i bought it my internal hard drive crashed and i had to buy a new one..i made the mistake of buying one that didnt have windows xp already installed on it..when i installed it myself i found that it was slow when it came to visual effects ..for example when i drag a window it doesnt slide smoothly , but it moves jerky across the screen..when i move the side bar down the screen jerks down , almost looking like its rolling

now i know it isnt about the speed of my processor or hard drive because the hard drive i had in the first place didnt have this problem and it had an even slower processor than my new one

Quick before my brother r@pes his computer! Where is the hard drive located on a Dell Latitude c640, and how do you get it out without breaking the thing?

My hard drive broke so I'm planning on buying a new one... but i need to know if there's a certain hard drive I need to get. I'm not sure if all Latitudes (or even all C640's) have the same hard drive. I really don't want to waste money on a hard drive that won't fit into my laptop, so what kind of hard drive do I get?

Like is there some kind of formula? I really need it fast so please help me. I have a stack of eight books I'm selling online and I need to know the weight. The total stack is 7.75" by 7.25" by 5" and all of the books are hard cover. I know there are probably a lot of factors but i just need the closest to a real weight.
