Alright, a I'll start off simple; my ex's friends hated my guts (no clue why, guess I have that personality) and ended up lying to her to get her to break up with me. well, needless to say, it worked, and she said I wasn't 'boyfriend material'. My personality is serious for the most part, but when I'm around her my better side comes out, not like I'm a complete jerk, more of a protective/serious nature. I got a little hot headed when she said that as a breakup line, which kind of sucked, anyways this is off topic, my question is; what the hell does not being 'boyfriend material' mean in the first place?
