I want to know is there a audio board saparated from mainboard and have to connect by ribbon cable. If not ribben is not connnected well or damaged the ribbon cable will cause no sound by on board speakers

no kb working and after clip the touchpadd again touchpad only working ,no key board not work .

I power up the laptop wont start. remoce the dc battery and not power on. remove the cmos battery after desemble, worked well. after insert cmos bat wont start, have to remove ac adapter and dc battery also cmos battery to power up again after shoutdown.

cmos battery was little hot and voltage was 2.92V.

,Installed original driver from hp.com and clean up viruses.

I could connect much closer to WiFi router and worked well .but I send the laptop to 1m or 2m giving msg as limited or disconnected.

Item is under warranty. formatted and installed win 8.1 .problem is same.

Driver is installed . re installed. and worked within 1m range. power settings reset ,cmos setting was reset

BT worked well Driver is Atheros QCA9000

After I shutdown and restart it.

I tried to recover with volume - and power button. Chinese menu came but couldn't fix.

I pressed reset button, But not fixed.

I dissembled the laptop to find noise of CPU fan .Also I assembled and press keyboard keys by my palm left to right to fit keyboard correctly.

After I tried to power on with battery. it is not power on. but with charger it is power on and working well. But when removing the charger it power off.and it is not power on. but with charger it is working well.

the laptop is Indicating battery led as charging the battery light is green.

Before dissemble the lap it is working well with battery without charger.

I want to know why it is happen?

I changed the battery but problem is the same?

I am repairing laptop and I am working carefully. I'm sure there was not happened by mistake or fault.

It is working well sometimes, But After power off and keep 1 -3 hours ,It is not working with LCD .I can getting Display with External Monitor. boot up and working well but First time with LCD it has colour problem. working only 16 colour After chainge resolution and Restart the o/s it is working well .

I pressed Fn+F5 to chainge the display to LCD and remove external monitor , And restart It is working with LCD. After shutdown and power on. same the problem. Have to use external monitor to working and chainging the resolution and colours and restart ,

I updated BIOS.

Installed Windows 98/xp/200 pro/ 2003 server /7/8/Ubuntu/ live xp /live cent os. and dos.

I can instsll VGA drives but sevaral times blank the LCD when logging in to deskktop in windows xp and 7. With win 8 no lcd worked,

But I installed win2000 with pressing F7 to Dissable ACPI Bios .Because When I tried to installed win2000 ,Displayed the msg as This system is not fully compatible to ACPI Bios. Therefore Press F7 to dissable ACPI .

I want to know Where is the problem. and which item has problem.

BIOS or VGA board.?

I thought this occure by conflict Resources. but I dissable LAN (First I couldn't install O/S before Dissable the lan)

I have to fix Thinkpad which have error of No Display.

I desembled the Laptop ... Removed the key board and touchpad cover. Removed the Battery. Also Removed the CMOS Battery. Clear the CMOS. (short 2 probs) and plug cmos battery. and Battery. Plug the Key board and touch pad. pressed the power button . The lap was Power on and Display CMOS Error / I go to CMOS and fix date and time. save settings and restart . Lap was working logging windows xp and working better. After shout down .or close the cover( Stand by) It was never boot up untill remove the battery and wait 1-2 days.

I got windows more than 5 times with above procedure. I want to know What is the problem is it?

I changed the RAM DDR 512MB pc 3200 /also working with DDR 256MB PC 2600.

I updated BIOS . But problem is remaining.

I suggested to chainge the mother board .but I'm waiting for Answer before chainge the board. Thanks

I have DT 101 II 8GB kingston datatraveller. And I can access files and view drive but can't delete or save files to flash drive.even can't format.

I tried by HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool and cound not format. and tries by Repair_v2.9.1.1 and got msgs as chip not supported.
