I'm trying to write something (50 words) about the movie Lost In Translation. I've never seen it. Can someone tell me was the hotel and the hotel room scenes a big feature in the movie? Can you describe what occurred in the hotel?

I'm tired of reading questions about preteen girls asking how to lose weight. Either they have self esteem issues or they have health issues. Either way, it should be handled by their parental guardian. No wonder more and more kids are obese- no one is standing up and stopping this. Instead, kids have to ask for help secretly on things like Yahoo Answers.

Maybe that's not a question, but feel free to share your opinions.

Do you believe it's possible to pray to God for a specific thing and here His answer? Do you think that's just your inner voice giving you a nudge or a message?

I'm not talking Joan of Arc here. I'm talking simply having a conversation with God and asking him a specific thing.

I just don't know about this stuff. What happens when you crack your bones??

When you crack your bones does that mean you are realigning your bone in your joint? So cracking say your ankle will realign all the little bones in the right place? Or are you moving them out of place? Why does it hurt when you crack something? I don't intentionally crack anything so when it happens I feel it hurts. Today I cracked my ankle and it felt very uncomfortable and was completely by accident. And what does this all have to do in relation to chiropractic work?

Please explain this.

My boyfriend of five years broke up with me unexpectedly with little to no explanation. During the day, I am moving on, but every night I continue to have dreams that I beg him to get back together with me. It's undermining my ability to get over him and it's wrecking my sleep.

Is it true we can control our dreams? Do you know any way this could just stop? Is it something I am doing before I sleep (ex. food?)?

I work on a farm in the farm market. I float from cash, to bake to birthdays. I do a lot. The average age of employee is like 16. I am 21. There are only 4 out of 40 of us older than 19. When I was hired, I got 25 cents over minimum wage. It is my first year there.

They are now hiring me to be a junior supervisor. I said I should get more money but they label this as training. I believe that I should get more money because I am doing more work. They want to label me as "training" until next year (we are only open May to Nov 1.) So that means for 3 months, I will be doing supervisor work for the same pay. True, I probably will not get as many shifts as the full supervisors, but I am still doing more work.

The argument is I was hired and received 25 cents more than minimum wage already. There is a huge misconception that i make more than some of the younger staff who have been there longer. But they don't account for inflation or market changes. They cannot expect me to be happy with my pay cause it's "more than what they got for the same work last year". Plus I am a lot older and I am only doing this to fund my Master and then Phd at university.

Would you ask for more money on the basis of more work? Or would you agree that I already make more than minimum and this is my first year so I should let it go? I don't know what to do.

What do you think of the show? I am not here to question spirituality, because I think there's merit to these issues for some people.

I just question how could there be sooo many kids with these abilities that they could make a show? And don't generally truly spiritual people not go around and flaunt it like this?

I think that guy who "coaches" the kids seems a little weird if you ask me. I think they might be psychologically traumatizing some of the kids. The sheer fact that they often tell the kids to distinguish between imagination and real psychic moments is evidence of this.

What do you think of what is happening to these kids regardless of whether they have real spiritual powers or not? What do you think of the show? Normally A&E puts on some pretty good shows so I am surprised.

If something good was happening to you, that would make your friends and family jealous or envious, would you chance telling them?

My family believes in the idea that you can get a bad energy from people who are intentionally or unintentionally jealous of you. I'm not bragging, but there is something I want to share with some friends.

What would you do? What would you do regardless of whether you believe in the above or not?

What do people from Vancouver call the city for short?

I have been calling it Van, but I just read someone call it VR. Kinda like some people call Toronto TO or T-Dot. Please tell me all the short forms for Vancouver, even if they suck, but they have to actually be used.

What do you think of these lyrics?? I read on Y!A that someone thought this was said in good fun. The song is entirely about how she's pissed and hates the guy, and to top it off, there's a direct comparison that she makes... she states the the guy can call her negative things like being crazy and she says she'll call him gay. That's a direct comparison with negative connotations.

Do you see this? What do you think?

Why do you think she gets away with this without anyone saying anything?

I had braces on from grade 6-9. My teeth were straight but then, I wore my retainer for 5 years. By that time, I had ENOUGH. I stopped wearing it so my teeth moved.

I was annoyed by one tooth so I decided to get braces put back on by the same ortho.

He said 9 months and only top braces. I chose clear.

After 4 months he said this wasn't working and I'd need bottom ones, so I was sad but I agreed. HE DIDN'T TELL ME AND HE WENT AHEAD AND HE PUT METAL ONES ON. I was SHOCKED. I look ridiculous. What choice did I have??

The argument was clear braces on the bottom will break off because my upper teeth will chip away at them.

It's been 9 months now and not only are my teeth not fixed but I look ridiculous with two types of braces.

Is this even true??? That my upper teeth would chip away at clear braces??? Should I demand he takes these metal ones and replace them with clear??? HELP!!

I'm going to get a Jetta.

Do you think Stacy in WNTW is way different from FL?

I was watching FL last night with Curtis (Take Home Chef) and she was acting like a moron. I've seen hosts make similar jokes, but never the way she does.

I think that is really strange because she seems much more mature and pulled together (mentally) on WNTW.

I once watched a show on TLC where you are learn a job completely different from your own, and this girl learns to be a Fashionista or something. She met Stacy and other fashion critics and said they were extremely fake and flakey.

Do you see a difference?

I don't know the artist or the words but I remember the video and what she looked like and what it was about:

It was a blonde teenage girl singing, and she definitely wasn't in a band. It beginnings with her and a bunch of teens sneaking into a museum. (I think I remember them looking/being near a telescope too.) The premise was that she liked that guy and it was about love. It was upbeat and country/pop. She reminded me of Leanne Rhymes (but it wasn't her) and Faith Hill (if Faith Hill was a teen, of course).

I think I remember liking the song. Anyone know what it was or who she might be?
