  • Best workbooks for learning Japanese?

I'm looking for a good workbook for Japanese. I've got a few books that have lists of phrases and such, but I can't really memorize things that way. I really need a book that will challenge me & will help me learn to form my own sentences. Suggestions please?

  • I'm looking for a Tablet pc, like Ipad or Android tablet with drawing capabilities?

I've been looking into the ipads and other tablet pcs, but the ones I'm seeing so far don't offer Photoshop or other drawing programs. Do you know of any that do?

Also, I've heard about the HP tx2 for graphic arts, is this better for what I'm looking for?

    Thanks!

  • Is it safe to put larger stones from my backyard in my aquarium?

So we've got a creek in our backyard with some great stones I would like to use as decoration in my FW tank. I was worried they would be too heavy for the tank? Or should I stick to smaller ones?

Also, I've heard that you should boil any stones you find to kill bacteria, or do some vinegar test on them? Is this really necessary?

  • Has anyone else had this problem with their Motorola Rival?

I just got the rival a few days ago. Its been working splendidly until this afternoon. Suddenly when I'm texting someone and hit 'reply', my phone restarts itself. It doesn't do it when I create a new message, just when I reply to someone.

I like the Rival, but I'm worried if I get it swapped out the same problem will come up again. Should I try getting it swapped, or just choose another phone entirely?

  • What are some unique rock/pop/ect. songs or artists I might like?

So I listen to my ipod 24/7 and I'm constantly getting tired of the stuff on it. I'd like to add a bunch of new stuff to it:) I listen to a lot of obscure bands, not so much the new stuff that gets over played on the radio. I prefer mostly clean stuff, not a lot of profanity please:).

I like rock music, pop, dance, and a bit of screamo, about anything but country:D. Some bands I love are Chiodos, Coheed and Cambria, A Skylit Drive, Tokio Hotel, Apocalyptica, Owl City, ect.ect.ect.

If you know any please send em to me:)

  • How different is Korean from Japanese? How difficult is Korean?

Is the pronunciation of Korean words similar to that of Japanese? Or is it completely different? I'm learning Japanese now, and I'm interested in learning Korean, but I don't know much about the language. Could someone tell me how difficult they think the language is? I'd appreciate it!:)
